Rihanna Bares Soul and Body for GQ

Rihanna's had a lot to overcome this year, and she's ending 2009 in a very liberating way: With a candid interview and nearly-nude photo spread in GQ Magazine. In the interview, Rihanna openly discusses how she coped with life and fame in the days and months after Chris Brown beat her, saying "now it's like I finally get to let go and move on." After the jump, Rihanna's words and a photo so sexy we couldn't put it on our main page.

On Venting Through Music: "I've put everything I've wanted to say for the past eight months into my music."

On Being Able to Talk About the Brown Assault: "Very liberating. It's relieving. Because it was built up for so long, and all these thoughts and emotions have been running through my mind for the past eight months. And now it's like I finally get to let go and move on ... I don't like talking about it a lot. But every time I do, it's better; it's easier each time.

On Why She's Speaking Out: "Because I wanted to move on. And I knew that was the only way I could have done it. And I wanted people to move on with me. 'Cause the last big thing they know about me
is That Night. And I don't want that to be what people define me as.

On What She Learned: "Um ... really really really that love is blind. It took a lot of strength to pull out of that relationship. To finally just bascially cut it out. It was like night and day. It was two different worlds. It was the world I lived for two years, and then having the strength to say, 'I'm gonna step into my own world. Start over.'

On Her Steamy Photo Spread: "It's very sexy, yeah. At one point [chairman, Island Def Jam Music Group]
L.A. Reid came into the shoot, and he was like, 'Rihanna, put some f------g clothes on!'"

Sometimes when your in a situation you can lose yourself. All that this girl went through was a life experience. and all she is doing is trying to find herself, What ever floats her boat:YOU GO GIRL! Don't hate, she made it through it and keep going. She is a beautiful girl and she got out of it. This is for you Rihanna keep your head up and don't let no one and nothing get you off track keep pushing on and those who hate let them and those who got you keep them close to you.Believe it our not god is with you and all of us.
