I hope the husband makes a lot of money because the kid is destined to be a bigger idiot than iys MOM!!!

Well if you don't like her then why are u even looking at her story?? Jealous much???
For real. Don't be a hater. Kendra's gorgeous, and she has a gorgeous husband and baby.
Duhh, I hope your kids are smarter than you. Hank is rollin in dough, and a pro sports player. Kendra is smart enough to use what she's got to get what she wants.
Ummm, having a planned c-section and "being induced" are two different things. "Being Induced" means your labor was induced usually because you are past your due date or problems with the baby--the article states she had a planned c-section. Too bad the mother doesn't realize the difference on the way her child was delivered. Lucky kid.

Wait, your article said she had a planned C-Section, then she goes on to say that she was induced and ate a huge meal before she went to the hospital. Being an Ob/Gyn nurse, I can guarantee you, both of those didn't happen! A C-Section is major surgery and you have to fast (nothing by mouth) eight hours prior!

Sunnyvale,
I've had scheduled c-sections and you can't eat anything after 11pm. So, if she did eat a huge meal she ate it before then. I did the same thing, I had a large meal before 11pm because I knew I would not have anything to eat the next day. Being a nurse I would expect you to know that.
Your right, I thought the samething..
Yes and I am quite certain that it was before the fasting that she ate a big meal since she knew she wouldn't be able to eat again for awhile. ya think?
I agree with you. I thought that was very weird too. Quality journalism here!
My thoughts exactly. It isn't like planning a trip. You can't eat a huge meal and then get cut open. Is this girl an airhead or what? Why didn't someone else question her on that statement. And she was induced? Um......and that baby looks white. Something's not quite right about all this. Nevertheless, I wish you luck Kendra. And congratulations.
It wasn't a planned c/section really. She was in labor in the hospital for 2 days so in reality, it was done for failure to progress with a large for gestational age baby.
Oh, and being induced and having a C-Section are TWO very different things. I am a nurse as well....C-Sections are surgery, induction is a "drug-induced" labor
Uhm....I'm a nurse too and her story makes perfect sense. Since she was in labor in the hospital for 2 days, her baby was 9lbs. What this means is that her baby reached the 4000g mark so the doctor said ok, labor isn't progressing naturally so I will give you a choice, we can either schedule a c-section or we can induce you. If induction fails, then we will proceed with a c-section. She was probably schedule to go into the hospital at midnight to start the induction so that night she probably had an awesome dinner, went in, IV with fluids and they started pitosin around 5, gave it 24 hours, NPO and when it didn't progress, did a c-section. Nurse and you didn't know this standard protocol???
RE: cathy jo
Hello! Her husband is light skinned and she's white... were you expecting him to look dark? And C-sections are planned procedures, excluding emergencies.
Do you happen to know what date and time Kendra went into the hospital, what time she ate the meal, what day and time she had the C-Section? Who has the true story anyway? Not me.
@ cathy jo, the baby looks white because 1.kendra is white, and 2. her husband is also half white, his mother is white and his father black, and hank is light skinned anyways, so its no suprise the baby is so white looking you big dummy.
Nurse Linda,
You are wrong, she was not given the choice of either induction or a C-section. She was induced and after being in labor for hours and not progressing that is when the doctor told her she needed a C-section.
Sorry but these idiots don't have their facts straight. But Kendra didn't have a planned C-section.
i think this is so sweet bless her heart she is just so happy -- of course she wants to show off that happiness which happens to be her precious baby hank!!
