Um, I had a c-section due to toxemia, and let me tell you, I was SICK and vomiting everywhere when the epidural kicked in. I was vomiting ALL NIGHT for hours after my surgery. My last meal before "show time" was late that afternoon, and I had twins at 5:00 pm. (Ate before my regular appt.) At the appt. the doc said, "you gotta go now." Sad thing is my twins went to NICU, and I forced myself to go see them b/c I had not seen them yet. When I got there, I couldn't stay b/c I was so very sick and it was HOT in the NICU. Eating b/4 Section is definitely something I would NOT advise. At least not within SEVERAL hours.
Of course she showed off her baby just hours after giving birth...she knows her fame is running out...
she has to find some way of staying in the spotlight...especially since the Kardashian baby now too.
While I'm happy for them...It's time to go away Kendra...your fame has ran it's course.

Planned induction/c-section? Yeah sure, evict the baby before he's ready. What a moron! First bad decision of the kids life. Hope she's feeding him the right way and didn't mutilate him. :/

The baby is 9lbs, so I'm guessing he wasn't a preemie!!!!
I am so sick of "celebrities" romanticizing c-sections, especially planned c-sections. It's MAJOR surgery and the majority of women in this country think they are normal! 31% of all births here are c-sections and it's disgusting! Did you know that section rates go up at 4pm (because doctors want to be home for dinner) and at 10pm (because they don't want to be up all night long)???? That's not about the mother and baby. It's about money and business. And it needs to change!

I'm so tired of this argument! I've had 3 kids, 1 c-section, 1 VBAC & 1 c-section, in that order. The first one ended up as an emg c-section following induced labor which didn't take. I wanted a c-section with my 2nd, but the doc talked me out of it. Turns out it would have been much better for my daughter, because the cord was short and wrapped twice around her neck. We didn't know until she was partially delivered. My 3rd child was getting huge and I wanted a c-section, but again the doc talked me out of it. They had to induce labor a week early because she was so big, but I wouldn't dilate. So then the doc asked me what I wanted, and I said I wanted a c-section. In my opinion, c-section is the way to go. I wished I had insisted on my 2nd & 3rd children to have the surgery. Yes, it's major, but it's worth the risk. Definitely better than having a "blue" baby, which my 2nd child was, and definitely better than laboring for 12 hours, only to end up with the surgery. All that being said, I'm happy for Kendra and her husband, and wish them much happiness.
Just be happy for them and stop hating.

Eating prior to surgery or not, I'm confused: if she had a planned C-section, why would they need to induce labor? Inducing labor means they had to give her a drug to start or speed up the labor process. I had an unplanned C-Section and they never induced labor--I would think that would be the last thing the OB would want to happen just before a C-section surgery?

I think Kendra doesn't know what she is talking about. Eating just prior to a C Section is a big no no and there is no way she was induced if she had a planned section. She's not the sharpest tool in the shed.
She wasn't induced. She was in labor in the hospital for 2 days with a large baby so she was 'sectioned' for failure to progress
I AGREE, MAYBE SHE MEANT THE SPINAL EPIDERAL, MORE INTRUSIVE USUALLY MORPHINE INTO THE SPINE TO PREPARE MINUTES BEFORE C-SECTION. THAT IS THE ONLY PREP FOR A ROUTINE ONE. BELIEVE THAT SHE'S OBVIUOSLY CONFUSED, BUT REGARDLESS, WISH THEM THE BEST.
I am very happy for Kendra and her husband. Beautiful baby boy!. Kendra has grown up since she left the mansion and this will changer her for the good. ALL YOU HATERS....STOP IT NOW!

Scraping the bottom of the barrel for a cover story?
This brainless, tasteless w***e, who slept for years with a doddering shuffling 85 year old relic (Hefner) to get her name in the news, is your choice for a cover story on motherhood. God Help us. Who in God's name would even consider marrying this trollop except another dumb pro football player?

I don't think any of those women do any more with Hef than sleep with him. You can't get "dust" to stand up. LOL
5 days old and all ready pimping her baby .These stars are whacko they sell pix of their kids.Remeber the good ol days when a star would have a baby maybe have a single snap shot of them leaving the hospital then the baby would be taken out of the spotlight forever. Now they would rather make a buck or two off of them then give them a somewhat normal life.

I wish her luck in her marriage and with the start of her family. TIme will tell all!!!
That's Hollywood!! We will see. I am always amused by Hollywood!!! HA!!

She probably didn't say EITHER of those things with regard to her baby's birth. It was proabably the person who wrote this story...you know how they are.

Sure she showed off her baby ...She didn't think twice about showing off everything else..So why would this be any diffrent ?

Whatever happened to the days of good old natural birth. I have had five children, all naturally with no medication . . . most of the them born on their due dates . . . what is up with people planning C-Sections and being induced. How do the doctors allow this?
