Rycroft Details 'Emotional' Wedding Day

EXCLUSIVE: Melissa Rycroft's wedding dreams weren't fulfilled during her 'Bachelor' run, but the reality star is now head-over-heels in love and married -- and PopEater is proud to exclusively premiere photos of Rycroft's wedding day given to us by In Touch Weekly. Photos aside, there's also an exclusive interview with Rycroft, in which she details her tear-filled walk down the aisle.

Rycroft, who married insurance agent Tye Strickland, said that their Isla Mujeres, Mexico, wedding was nothing short of breathtaking. Talking with In Touch exclusively, Rycroft says that emotionally, she "was fine until 'Here Comes the Bride' started." That's when the waterworks kicked in.

"I think everything hit me at once. My dad started to walk down the aisle, and I just stopped him. I grabbed his arm, and I was like, 'Hold on,' and I started crying. And I saw Tye, and bless his heart, he had these big tears in his eyes, too. It was very emotional," Rycroft explains.

Tye was equally awestruck, saying: "When I saw her, I just lost my breath - like I was in a football game and had the wind knocked out of me ... I've never felt that way in my whole life, and I just couldn't help it. She was the most gorgeous bride I've ever seen in my life, and it was amazing. It was absolutely perfect."

Rycroft shot to fame when she was famously ousted from 'The Bachelor' by Jason Mesnick after she had already been proposed to. Her heartbreak paid off though, landing her a spot on 'Dancing With the Stars' shortly after, where she placed third. She's now a correspondent for 'Good Morning America.'

Isn't Rycroft's 15 MINUTES OF FAME OVER YET!!!!
So she got dumped big deal is she the only girl that got dumped. God closed a door but opened a window now stay in the house and leave us alone!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE!!!! This girl "knows" someone. She, and her story, is so fake. She was dating "her current husband", when she was on Bachelor(and got DUMPED).??? One week later she is on Dancing and talking about her "boyfriend"? They had been dating for quite a while. Bachelor and Dancing... just a publicity stunt.

I really believe Jason that she just changed after the show was over, of course, she had had her fame and wanted back with her boyfriend. And my Goodness, does she ever shut her mouth, and I don't mean talking. I hope all her wedding photos don't have that big mouth wide open like I always see it. Okay, she is married and has a job on TV now give America a break from her already and her quest for publicity.

I agree. She has horse teeth! She should close her mouth once in a while! Hope she has good breath!

Sooooo happy to hear the good news for Melissa. I loved her on the Bachelor, Dancing with Stars, and now on GMA....seems like a terrific gal. Wish them the very best!!! Glad "looser Jason" did dump her....she deserved better and looks like she got it. Yahoo....
