Nicole Kidman Won't Discuss Scientology

In an interview with BBC personality Andrew Marr, Nicole Kidman refused to talk about Scientology when asked about the controversial religion.

"One of the thing, you haven't talked about before ... Scientology, it is, a lot of people would say, a bullying cult," Marr said to Kidman.

"I'm here to publicize 'Nine,'" Kidman responded. Watch It Happen

"If I was here to do an expose on myself then I'd be like, 'Let's go,' but I have no interest in discussing any of that," the actress continued.

"You don't want to talk about Scientology?" Marr asked.

"No, I'll talk about 'Nine,'" she exlaimed.

Kidman was married to Tom Cruise -- a well-known Scientologist -- for 10 years.

i joined a religious group once and i never will again. the minute i did i was not good enough, didnt volunteer enough and didnt give enough money. All they wanted was unworthy people to do there work. and they had the nerve to ask for a pay raise because they was jealous of what unworthy people have. what a bunch of nerds.

I LOVE when the stars put these guys in thier place...the only reason she was on the show was to promote her movie...he was an ass to try and get an ugly scoop of some sort..PLUS he insulted her by calling her religion some sort of Bulling religions...the ass is lucky she did just get up leave with emply air space.

What a dumb whore. Does she really think anyone wants to get her on the show to talk about her latest crappy flick? They'd talk to the director if they wanted to know anything important about it.

Now know your role as a celebrity and be prepared to answer questions about yourself. You didn't really think you'd get to be rich and famous for doing jack and not have to give up anythign did you?

I like her, she is a good actress. But she should put some weight on and stop with the botox. I don't think anyone really knows what the effects of that will be years from now. And besides there are great creams out there and using them keeps the age hidden as well. And she can afford the best.

Why would anyone let alone Kidman want to talk about or worse try to defend Scientology. Leave that to Crazy Cruise he does it well.

Nicole IS and I believe always has been, a Catholic. She may have went through the motions when married to the nut "Cruise" as being a Scientologist, but she was born, grew up and lived as a Catholic, and it was one of the first things she did when divorced from her ex, go back to the Catholic church. Her and Keith were married in Australia in her life long church, and where baby Sundy Rose was Christened. She is one beautiful, classy lady to refuse talk of her past, and beam with pride in her present life.
