it makes me sad...i watched her every xmas with my mom
I remember Miss Jones from when I was a kid. She was truly the God of beauty. I hope she had a happy life. She brought me a lot of joy.
Leave us not forget the others who are still with us...and still working: Maureen O'Hara (89), Jean Simmons (80), Olivia De Havilland (93), her sister Joan Fontaine (92), Zsa Zsa Gabor (92), Jane Russell (88)...just to name a few! And all of them still gorgeous!
Wow Andy! If anyone ever trys convincing you that you are NOT an imbecile, don't believe them for a second! You really are!
P.S. As you sound like you are a liberal, and probably still believe in Santa Clause, I hope he brings you a Spelling book! "lete' hope so, ok?? Moron!

rlau -- if Santa does bring Andy a dictionary, you might want to borrow it. Look up "trys" and Santa is Santa Claus, not Santa "Clause"
All the other stuff that Andy wrote is not worthy of a reply.
I believe that's Santa Claus (no e on the end)
re: Santa Clause. There's that pesky E that hounded Al Gore all those years.
Jennifer Jones was a great actress and truly an original. She will be missed.

Kudos to you, Lisa! Jennifer Jones WAS a class act. I'm so happy I have several of her best films...like PORTRAIT OF JENNIE (1948), which was directed by her then-husband, Darryl F. Zanuck, and LOVE IS A MANY-SPLENDORED THING (1955). She was fantastic!!!
Great lady, and a great actress.

Jennifer Jones was the best! Her movies always guaranteed a memorable time! She had that "knack" of making you believe every word she said and every character she played. From "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing" to "Jenny" to "Ruby Gentry" to "Duel In the Sun" and many more--it can't get any better! I'm glad she lived a long, successful life! Great, Great actress with depth and believability!

only ignorant idiots relate the death of a 90 yr old actress to health care debate.. and then make it an ethnic slur all together.. takes real talent. and we can see that andy has that talent... too bad hes not using it cleaning passing car windows with a squeegee on 8th ave and 43rd street

I don't believe Andy could perform such a job as cleaning windshields. He is too hateful.
maybe andy the idiot should have a brain tumor- but you have no brain

How insensitive and anti-semetic! I guess in your eyes, all are not created equal.

Sad news. I have researched Jennifer Jones recently due to movies she starred in which i watched on TCM. She is on my list of the ten most alluring actresses of all time.
I checked Wikipedia and found that she was 90 and was glad she was still with us. Now, it's a blow to see that Jennifer Jones has passed away. She was one of the most beautiful women on earth; right up there with Vivien Leigh, Hedy Lamar, Natalie Wood and, more recently, Nicole Kidman.

I guess spelling is now truly a lost art.
