Gosselin Divorce Final ... Finally

After a well-publicized and scandal-marked separation, the divorce of Jon and Kate Gosselin is final, TMZ reports. Judge Arthur Tilson has signed the papers, making the Gosselin marriage officially over. Kate calls the process "challenging" and says that the family's next step will be "restructuring our lives."

Kate says, "I am very relieved that our divorce has been finalized, and I look forward to the New Year, focusing on our children." Her lawyer adds that Kate "will continue to reside with all eight of her children in the former marital home."

The lawyer, Mark Momjian, says, "We are very pleased with the final outcome."

Judge Tilson signed the documents following an arbiter's decision on dividing the couple's assets, despite a recent statement from Jon's camp suggesting the divorce would not be finalized until early 2010.

A report on MSNBC says that the papers were filed in spite of a last-minute holdup: Jon's gun. He was spotted shooting a .38 pistol on the couple's Pennsylvania property. On Thursday, a judge issued a court order barring the gun from the property; whether the ban remains a part of the final divorce agreement in unclear.

Kate will be fine, she's a focused woman who knows what's important, and she will provide for her kids. Let me tell you I have one handicapped son and one normal daughter and I go crazy with every thing from time to time...how Kate does it (?), I admire her,,and I can't find the guts to kick my so called husband's sorry ass out--he's a real looser like Jon is.

The "Jon And Kate" show (forget the children) took up too much time; hell, even I knew about them and I've NEVER seen an episode of their little show. If they hadn't had a litter, they wouldn't have been famous in the first place. Them and Octomom are just alike: how dare them have so many children. We talk about welfare mothers...living in the ghettoes; I have more respect for them...sad to say.

The only good thing about the Tiger Woods deal is that it made this Kate and Jon issue yesterdays news. Kate and Jon used their kids like Tiger used a 4 Iron, to make money period. I feel sorry for these kids, in fact, I feel sorry for all of them.

Kate & Jon will get back somehow, they need to make money again. I think eventually cameras on kids will be back again. It's all about MONEY.

Now now now people. let's not be so judgemental! There are always three sides to a story.......his side, her side and the truth. I can't imagine any relationship surviving the multiple births PLUS the television exposure driven by greed. It was doomed to fail.
