Blake Says He and Amy Winehouse Are 'Engaged' and 'Want Kids'

Blake Fielder-Civil, the formerly heroin-hobbled ex-husband of Amy Winehouse, had something surprising to tell The Sun newspaper last night: "We're back together -- and we're engaged."

Oh, but there's more to surely upset Winehouse's protective papa Mitch: "Amy and I have talked about ... starting a family. We both definitely want kids."

The couple divorced in September, but Fielder-Civil insists they never stopped loving each other and got engaged in November. He now says he's "100 percnt clean" and determined to keep Winehouse off drugs as well.

He knows the idea of getting re-married won't be popular among his or her families, but "this time we're doing things properly and hopefully that will help both our families come round to the idea."

The couple first got hitched in May 2007 after dating off-and-on for two years. He was sent to jail in November 2007 on an assault charge during his imprisonment filed for divorce from Amy, citing her apparent acts of infidelity. Blake was released in March.

Now, he claims it was pressure from their parents to get divorced, and not adultery or drugs.

"We've both been through a lot but we love each other the same as ever. We've tried to get on with our lives and to see other people, but it wasn't the same. There's no one like Amy. She will always be the love of my life."

The real question is why are these people bringing these BASTARD children into the world. If they want children ,then do the children a FAVOR and GET MARRIED ,making them legitimate

rather than taking blake back she should try to find a new love. i would suggest using a rehab center as a dating service. she couldn't possibly find anyone worse.

This broad is so dumb. She doesn't love Blake, she loves drugs and she wants someone to do them with her so she doesn't feel so bad. If they really have turned their lives around kudos to them and I hope they make it, but if this is all bull then hopefully those two will overdose and die before they give birth to another crack baby. No child deserves that. If anybody wants to do drugs please do the honorable thing by getting sterilized. Junkies who make babies just make me so sick.

Wow are you ignorant! Nobody 'wants' to do drugs, just like nobody chooses to have cancer. It's a disease and you should consider yourself so lucky that you're not afflicted with it. I am a recovering alcoholic/drug addict and I know how hard it is, even after 13 years of being clean and sober. You are just a judgmental human being who should hope to never get seriously sick.

Haven't read 'Mad Magazine' in a long time but back in the 60's and 70's there were cartoons where people spoke while holding up masks. The masks spoke the acceptable statements while the real person spoke what they were truly feeling. I can only imagine what his real thoughts would be: "There's no one quite as dumb as Amy. She and her money will always be the loves of my life."
