A little winter weather couldn't stop put out the flame of love between Kevin Jonas and Danielle Deleasa, who married on Saturday in Long Island, New York despite blizzard warnings and pounding snow. Thankfully, the nuptials were inside at a French-style castle. PEOPLE reports that more than 400 guests braved the brutal weather in order to see the eldest Jonas and Deleasa's wedding. Aside from Kevin's famous brothers, teen queen Demi Lovato was also in attendance.RadarOnline (correctly) reported earlier this week that Jonas would be getting married this weekend.
Event planner Michael Russo tells PEOPLE that "the snow only made it look more like a winter wonderland," and that the bride "looked like a princess ... Kevin couldn't stop smiling."
Jonas and Deleasa -- who is a former New Jersey hairdresser -- have been dating since 2007 after meeting in the Bahamas. They're both 22 years old.
Despite their high-profile relationship, the two rarely walk red carpets or go to major public events together, allowing them to keep their private life... well, private. Jonas proposed this summer by ambushing Deleasa at her New Jersey home and dropping to one knee on her doorstep.

Back when my mother and father got married being younger was kinda different now most kids in their early 20s are just that Kids, My Mom and dad grew up in the depression and had to grow up fast. I cannot understand getting married that young especially when famous. This marriage will not last more than a few years. Young marriages today on the most part do not last forever. Some maybe but not for the most part. When i was 22 i was having too much fun to think about being married. I also think its mostly the girls who want to get married very young. The guys just go with the flow.

My husband and I got married when we were 20 and 21. It's been 17 years and we are still together. I hope the Jonas brothers don't disappoint me like all the other celebrities, but I feel that out of all celebrity kids, these ones have their heads on straight. 22 year olds today can be just as responsible as they were during the depression if they've had a good upbringing. Stop being so judgmental. There are worse people like Tiger Woods you can criticize.
Haven't you heard about the promise rings? They promised to remain virgins until they were married. There's your explanation.
Im so happy for them! Whoever isnt happy about 2 people loving eachother and getting married obviously has issues of their own to settle.
Congrats Kev and Dani!

Lindsey-Your post is excellent! It amazes me how some people can be so nasty and disrespectful. Some people, it seems, are obviously angry and bitter with the choices they have made concerning their owns lives, so they take their frustrations out on those who are truly happy.
Kevin and Danielle-Congratulations and may the two of you have a happy and healthy life together!!
It's not the couple's age that gives an indication of whether or not a marriage will work. My parents married when my father was 20 and my mother was 18. They were divorced four weeks shy of their 12th anniversary. (My father married three more times; my mother & stepfather have been married 35 years.) What determines the success of a marriage is the couple's willingness to work at their relationship; emotional maturity is another factor. My brother married at age 20, and in June 2010 will celebrate being married to the same woman for 25 years. Since they both came from "broken homes", they decided to do whatever was necessary to stay together. So far it's worked for them--I hope I'll be around to see them celebrate their 50th!!

There's a difference between being married way back whne during the stone age. And today and the last decade. It's the great marriage to the quickie divorce. Me. I have been married for almost 12 years. Regardless of whether they're marriage last long. It's not going to impact on my own life. In whihc I really don't care if they stay married or not. That's the problem with most people. They live their lives through these "stars". And what ever happens to their lives apparenty impacts these "fans" lives. Which is truly sad in my eyes. Live your own lives don't live it through them. sheesh. In the long run it's what you do that impacts your life. Not theirs.
Congrats to the new Mr & Mrs Jonas. May they have many happy and wonderful years together.

They're just random people who can't sing, and one of them got married.
