This week, we're forced to bear witness to the boring black-and-white red carpet of the 'Nine' premiere - c'mon, ladies, branch out! Thankfully we have some relief via the Olsen Twins, Paris Hilton, and Madonna.

How is it that Diane can pull of weird dresses like this? It has a distinctly Chanel feel, and normally most people would look like a church bell in it, but somehow she makes it work.

At first, when we saw the front of the dress, we were like, 'Meh.' But once we saw this pic and the back/train of the dress, we shuddered. It's one of those dual-purpose gowns - it has a tail that sweeps up after you.

Rachel looks sad and annoyed. Well, we're sad and annoyed with her bad streaked hair and this boring gray palate. It's a pretty gown, but for the red carpet premiere of your movie, you'd think she'd pick something with a bit more zing.
