Amy Winehouse Throws Down... At 'Cinderella' Production

If a report in the Sun is accurate, notorious big-voiced bad girl Amy Winehouse could be looking at another assault charge for kicking a theater manager... at a children's pantomime production of 'Cinderella.' Sources claim that Winehouse was rowdy during the entire first act of the show, shouting profanities at a cast including Mickey Rooney. When staff tried to usher Winehouse to a private box, the singer allegedly attacked front-of-house manager Richard Pound, "pulling his hair, punching him and kicking him between the legs."

Winehouse went to the show in support of her friend Anthony Kavanagh, a former MTV reality star acting as the understudy for Prince Charming. A backstage source told the Sun, "Anthony brought Amy to impress the cast with his showbiz connections. But it backfired badly."

The source said Winehouse behaved like "a demonic child," badly upsetting the kid-filled audience.

Apparently, Winehouse also worked her magic on the Fairy Godmother, played by British actress Anthea Turner. "She was so spaced out and told Anthea, 'I love you, Anthea, sticky-back plastic, I love you,'" the source said. "It got worse because Amy had a cut on her wrist and bled all over Anthea."

In a statement, Thames Valley Police confirmed that an incident occurred: "At around 9:05 p.m. on Saturday night officers were called to the Milton Keynes Theatre in Marlborough Gate, following reports that a 27-year-old man had been assaulted. No arrests have been made and the incident is being investigated."

"Amy was invited by a friend of hers starring in the show," a friend of the troubled singer told PEOPLE. "She wasn't arrested, and she hasn't been questioned by the police yet."

I am sure her parents are beaming with pride and joy, and are just so proud of their daughter and her public life. What a joke!!! She is an embarrassment to all humanity and needs a dose of her own medicine. Ideally knock her teeth in and cut her hands off so that she cannot spew vile and assault others. Maybe someone should have helped hold her wrists while she was slashing them, to do all of us a favor. What a POS. I used to sort of like her singing and thought her rehab song was funny at first. However, since learning of her antics, I think she is despicable and I wouldn't pay to see her perform or buy her cd.

What a contradiction she is really. Her music is classy and sophisticated. Great stuff. To hear her discs one would never suspect she was such a wreck. A shame she cannot be brought under control. To lose her would be such a waste. But it seems inevitable.

Is anyone sufficiently impressed with this person yet or can we move on to the real talents out there who work hard, keep it together, and know how to behave appropriately before children? How could ANYone think this behavior is ok? I have heard nothing about Amy Winehouse that makes me curious enough to even listen to her music. Actions always speak louder than words. Who cares if she's just doing it for attention? If her music was worthy she'd have the attention she deserved instead of having to steal it from a children's theatre production. All she's done is serve as yet another bad example to our children. Is it any wonder so many kids today have such little respect? Look at who they admire! Now if the all the news industry wanted to do the world (and our future generations) a favor they'd plaster Winehouse across every front page w/ a story to kids on how really uncool she is and use her as an example of how NOT to behave! But I suppose that wouldn't sell as well as the bad girl stuff. Oh well.....

If that ugly drug addict had tried to punch or kick me I would have knocked her teeth out of her big mouth and kicker her in the rearend.
