Singer LeAnn Rimes and her soon-to-be-ex husband Dean Sheremet reached a confidential settlement - the same day Sheremet filed for divorce, according to a report in PEOPLE. Without a struggle to divide assets in court, the split will be official on June 19, 2010."The [settlement] shall not be filed in this proceeding due to the parties mutual desire to maintain their respective rights to privacy," the court document reads.
Rimes and Sheremet were married in 2002 and have no children. The couple announced their separation in September, when an affair between Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian became headline fodder earlier this year. Citing "irreconcilable differences," Sheremet filed divorce papers Sunday.

I am very disappointed in LeAnn Rimes. Her adultery has changed my view of her. Her and Eddie are trash. Hope they know they can never trust each other since their spouses could not trust them.

I, too, am so disappointed in Lee Ann Rimes....morals of a alley cat. Beautiful voice, good husband...thank God there are no children involved. She obviously would not be a good mother. Her ugly life is affecting her face. She was never an attractive looking female...but now she is most unattractive & hard looking. I pity her.

Why do you dislike someone who is of no concern to you? Calling LeAnn ugly & alley cat is uncalled for. She, like millions of others followed her heart. Not saying that I ever did but I know human nature. If she had such a great marriage with such a super guy why would she stray? As for her qualities for motherhood how can you really know how that would turn out? Shame on you people who judge without knowledge. Maybe she's made a mistake but it's her life. She only owes us entertainment which she does very well.

I'm really disappointed in Lee Ann. I never have liked Eddie Cibrian, he's a real peice of S**t with no morals at all and it's appears that she has lowered herself to his level. I'm sure she regrets what has happen because slimball Eddie will move on from Lee Ann leaving her in the dust.

For all her years, now she is being call nasty names. As far as Eddie, I don't know anything about him personally. If she had a loveless marriage and no children, was not happpy, etc., then it was time to leave. I've heard nasty remarks about her husband, too.
The only ones to really know the truth are those involved in the romance and marriage.

I am still a fan of hers sort of. She yea , just followed her heart, but it is how you follow your heart. You follow your heart with your brain as a permenant campanion. Eddie is a bad move. She and Eddie both played on and dumped their spouses who had no idea.
I predict in CountryM,she 'll be just fine like Amy grant and Vince Gill who did the same. Worst because kids were there. Read Amy's thoughts on meeting Vince...she knew it was right,had to be with him.Vince was no different. Jancie Gill and Gary Chapman should have been informed of Vince and Amy's newfound love at first sight.

She looks so much happier these days. She NEVER looked it when with her husband. She truly looks radiant this time! That tells me that something was missing in her marriage.
