Divorce Could Cost Tiger Woods $400M

The possible divorce between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren thanks to the massive infidelity scandal plaguing the golf great could wind up being one of the most costly in history. In a report given exclusively to PopEater by Life & Style magazine, Woods may lose more than $400 million should he divorce his wife. Got that? $400+ million. U.S. Dollars! Details After the Jump!

The couple has reportedly been attending marital counseling in order to stave off a divorce, but their relationship is still quite rocky. Life & Style reports that Nordegren is intent on getting full custody of the couple's two children, which would also give her leverage when it comes to the couple's assets.

Celebrity divorce lawyer Raoul Felder tells the magazine that normally "the judge rules that [the mother] can go wherever she likes as long as it doesn't cut the father out of the children's life and make visitation difficult for him ... In Tiger's case, a judge will probably tell him that since he can afford his own plane, he can travel wherever he needs to."

Felder also says Elin should even be able to travel outside of the U.S. -- perhaps to her homeland of Sweden -- without getting approval from Tiger first, which is normal following a divorce.

Should the couple divorce, Tiger's massive fortune will also be up for joint custody in a sense. With his marriage, reputation and earning power all seemingly shot -- plus his golf career on an indefinite hiatus -- here's how Tiger's bankroll breaks down according to Life & Style's tally:

Jupiter Island home: $44,500,000.00
Windermere, Fla., home: $2,650,000.00
Jackson Hole, Wy., home: $32,500,000.00
Yacht: $20,000,000.00

Winnings: $92,000,000.00

TOTAL: $416,650,000

Tiger is no better or worse than any other person who has forfeited their family and fortune for the sake of sex and ego..
If he winds up broke, it serves him right. I hope he sees his children's face at night while he is trying to sleep..That is all he needed while he was playing around, so that is all he needs now..

I agree with you. I would do anything for my kids, that makes saying no very easy. Even easier is to not allow myself to get into a questionable situation where I would have to say no. Cheetah Woods needs to learn that.

I have no sympathy for his actions, and he obviously didnt care enough about his wife , or his kids, and all these women, disgusting. Lost total respect for him. He got caught , simple as that, what do you expect. The humiliation and embarassment, its not over yet either. Money or not. If you want to play the field , then dont get married and have children.

I have followed Tiger since 1997 and he was an arrogant SOB then, especially when I watched him at the Canadian Open. All the other golfers signed autographs for the kids except Tiger, whose caddie told everyone to wait by the official tent and Tiger would appear after signing his scorecard. 3 hours later - No Tiger. These kids were heartbroken.I'm fed up watching him 10 shots back and the US Tv leaves out the leaders. All the swearing ,spitting and club throwing tantrums are edited out. If Tiger worked in a factory, do you think Elin would have married him?? My choice for #1 jerk, he deserves what he gets

Seems to me Tiger made a couple of mistakes. First, he cheated. Plain and simple. Second, he didn't do enough "studying" on his fiancee, Elin. He should have known she was interested in his money before the marriage. There is a pre-nup, so she might get only a fraction of that money. I suppose only mega- rich people get pre-nups, but i think if you want to get one, then don't marry that person. If you don't trust them, don't marry them. They never should have gotten married; her for the moneyseeking tendencies, and him for being a player with his harem he had. I feel sorry for the kids. They will suffer the most.

Just because she wants to rake her cheating husband over the coals now doesn't mean she wasn't in love with him when they got married. The deeper the cut, the worse the anger and it sounds like she is way MORE than royally pizzed at him. If she was just in it for the money, she'd have kept quiet and let him do what he wants so she could keep on living the life in any one of their other multi-million dollar homes.

Gee, look how much money Tiger's 'johnson bar' is costing him. That's a lot of money especially when you consider that a johnson bar has no brain. I feel soory for Tig letting his 'unit' take him where he should not go. But he made that decision and now he has to live with it. Hmmm, wonder if he's mad at johnson. That's a no brainer.
