Tiger cheats on his wife and it's the biggest story to hit headlines in history. 'Slumdog Millionaire' cutie Rubina Ali is put up for sale by her parents and it's barely a footnote in your local gossip rag. What's up with that? Or how about legendary actress Farrah Fawcett's death getting pushed to Page Six? These are the top 5 stories of 2009 that should have been way bigger.

Bristol Palin Gives Birth – Is there really a more fascinating mother out there than Bristol Palin? Are you telling us Octomom is more compelling? More babies does not a more interesting mother make. Same goes for Michelle Duggar. And Kate Gosselin, while we're at it. Very pregnant at the tender age of 18, Bristol traveled the States with mama during her vice presidential run and then popped on Dec. 27, 2008. But wait, the best part is yet to come. In February Bristol told 'On The Record with Greta' that abstinence is "not realistic at all." And then in May she becomes an "Abstinence Ambassador" for the Candie's Foundation. Sometimes having one baby is a much bigger deal than having 19.

Kevin Gets Fed – There was a time when Kevin Federline could pick up the hottest girl on the planet. And he did. Britney Spears was the object of every man's dreams when the two linked up in 2004. How far the backup dancer-slash-nightclub legend (known by friends as "Meat Pole") has fallen. In July he was captured pretty well Fed. In August he was seen very well Fed. And by September the ex-male model was seen shirtless and Fed to the brim. It's a wonder he wasn't fully fed to the tabloid wolves.

Slumdog Actress For Sale – Nicolas Cage buys a $300,000 dinosaur skull, and it's front page news. But when Rubina Ali, the adorable Indian actress who portrayed young Latika in 'Slumdog Millionaire' gets thrown on the auction block by her father, it's buried beneath headlines about Bo the First Dog and the return of 'The Hills.' This is the 21^st century, people! You can't buy humans! Not today! Not even "an Oscar child," as Rubina's uncle allegedly called her. Though we must say, £200,000 is a lot of money to turn down...

Farrah Fawcett Dies – Farrah's passing got a lot of attention. But she deserved much, much more. She's up there with Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Beyonce as the most beautiful and desired women in the history of human civilization. But she just had to go and leave this earth just a few hours before TMZ shocked the world with headlines of Michael Jackson's death. And you thought Ronald Reagan had it tough in 2004 when Ray Charles died 5 days later. Or when Princess Diana died in 1997 and Mother Teresa kicked the bucket that same week. Wait, are we feeling sorry for dead people? Yes, it appears so.

Brody Jenner vs. Joe Francis – 'Celebrity Deathmatch' couldn't make up a better fight than this under-reported real-life showdown. If you blinked you might have missed out on the awesome August brawl in which the Prince of Malibu allegedly punched the "Girls Gone Wild" creator after he assaulted Jenner's flame Jayde Nicole. Brody claims he was then tased while leaving his own 26^th birthday party on August 28 at Hollywood's Guys and Dolls. He posted the following message on Twitter the following morning: "Joe Francis beat up my lady this morning for no reason! Pulled her to the ground, punched & kicked her..what does that say about him?" Francis had words of his own: "Jenner's public accusations that I punched and kicked his girlfriend are false, outrageous and slanderous... In fact, they are actionable, and I plan to take legal action." The next day the L.A. Times was covered with headlines about some recently deceased guy named Ted Kennedy.

I think the most under reported storey of 2009 is why AOL has let so many SPAMMERS on every single page.Is there anyone not watching & deleting these as they pop up?Hell they can't sit & post them over&over all day long unless thats all they do all day.Taking up my time trying to read what all you good people post!!

NO WAY was Farrah Fawcett that great of an actress. What was she in? Charlie's Angels, and some Lifetime movie. Can you think of anything else she was in? NO. I am sorry that she died, but she was not nearly the megastar that Michael Jackson was. Granted, had she not died around the same time he did, she would have been bigger news. Sad to say, but timing is important.

No one else you mentioned was interesting at all, except for Rubina Ali. She's the only one mentioned that should have been news.
