Amy Winehouse Charged After Behaving Badly in Front of Kids

Amy Winehouse has been charged with assault after allegedly kicking a theater manager in the groin over the weekend after parents complained the singer was cursing in front of children, Sky News reports.

The troubled 'Rehab' star was asked to leave a kid's pantomime production of 'Cinderella' on Saturday after she became rowdy, shouting profanities at a cast including Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney. According to reports, when theater staff tried to usher Winehouse to a private box, the singer attacked front-of-house manager Richard Pound, "pulling his hair, punching him and kicking him between the legs."

Pound filed a complaint with local police and Winehouse was charged on Wednesday.

Winehouse went to the show in support of her friend Anthony Kavanagh, a former MTV reality star acting as the understudy for Prince Charming. A backstage source told the Sun newspaper, "Anthony brought Amy to impress the cast with his showbiz connections. But it backfired badly."

The source said Winehouse behaved like "a demonic child," badly upsetting the kid-filled audience.

Apparently, Winehouse also worked her magic on the Fairy Godmother, played by British actress Anthea Turner. "She was so spaced out and told Anthea, 'I love you, Anthea, sticky-back plastic, I love you,'" the source said. "It got worse because Amy had a cut on her wrist and bled all over Anthea."

It is a joke that you hide behind monikers in attacking another person like this.

The Brits seem to use Amy Winehouse as the Official British Whipping Post. I hope she moves to Los Angeles where Americans appreciate creative talent when they see it.

there are no bad words because there are no bad letters, and would just 1 stupid journalist look up profanity?, everything discussed outside a temple, or conversations of the profane(uninitiated, everyday ppl) is profanity. if bad words existed they'd have existed the second a language came into existence. these words had all their original definitions changed, therefore did not mean what americans think they do. and f.u.c.k. is an acronym! in hebrew/arabic there's no bad words at all, because the entire alphabets are considered holy.

Amy definately seems to have some form of mental illness. Not only that she is a product of too much money and of No Restraint. This woman needs to truly find the Lord. He can change her life and rid her of the demons she is filled with. Otherwise, she will die young and unsaved with only hell to be her lot.
