Jon and Kate Gosselin Named Most Overexposed Couple

In 2009, you heard too much about Jon and Kate Gosselin. The couple, who started out as a struggling parents of eight children, catapulted into infamy when tabloids suspected Jon of cheating. Then the pair divorced, and their faces were plastered across magazines week after week. But you're sick of hearing about the reality TV parents. According to 56 percent of over 33K PopEater voters, Jon and Kate were the most overexposed of the year, easily beating out Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who had 22 percent of the votes.

No kidding over exposed doesn't even state what the drama duo ...mostly Kate have gotten outta the paparazzi....BOOO HOOO HOOO poor Kate sniff sniff sniff she is just an ordinary person with kids who deserve more!! She just can't live off a nurses salary and child support from an ITWORKER so sad...NOT

Gee - hate Kate much? You may sing a different song if you had 8 kids and a lazy husband - correction ex-husband. Let me put it another way, keeping Kate employed is also keeping 8 kids off public assistance. Jon will learn the hard way that he cut his nose off to spite his face. Basically, he screwed a good thing by being a jerk and shagging girls barely out of their teens. But hey - it's his life, he better get a new job soon that pays six figures because his day in the sun is over. Who is offerning him jobs in television now?

i hate to say it val but it wasn't only jon who ruined the marriage - jon finally got tired of kate's crap & the way she treated him that he finally wisened up & left - i agree that he shouldn't have cheated on her & paraded himself in public like he did but at the same time kate is also to blame for the way she treated him in public & on tv constantly putting him down for not talking right, scratching himself on tv or stupid, YES STUPID RIDICULOUS stuff

This bodes ill for all who read, listen, or watch TV. Over the next 12 months we can expect to be bombarded with octo-mom stories as she goes to ever greater lengths to stay in the public eye.

You slam Kate, but it wasn't her face you saw every day, all day, non-stop interviews with ET, The Insider and anyone else who would listen to that putz whine about TLC ruining his life. It was Jon. Do the math and see who it actually was that stirred the paparazzi, to the point, he phoned them, told them where he was and set up phony publicity shoots, all to keep his ugly mug. THen add in that weird legal team he hired, and Michael Lohan, the women he screwed over and I think we all know who was the most over-exposed, under-deserving putz of all time. There should be an award for that kind of attention seeking grovelling.

Are you kidding me? You saw Khate everywhere, Today show, Larry king, another "Khate special" give me a break. She played the pity party for all it was worth. If I was Jon, I would have left long ago. She was a horror show to him, IN PUBLIC, IN FRONT OF THEIR CHILDREN, ON TV, you name it. It was awful. I couldn't even watch the show, it was so painful. She gets all this praise for taking care of the kids. You can't be serious. SHe has nannies, maids, (and lets not forget the bodyguards) you name it. She is soooooo important in her mind, that she can't possibly do anything herself, she is a star after all. NOT!!! Get a life Kate.

Jon you better hurry and find a job to pay that child support. Seeing how how you have acted I have very little doubt that over the next few years you will just be a dead beat dad with no job, no home and no family and soon it will be Jon who. Remember you did it to yourself

Hopefully next year at this time Jon & Kate will be the subject of a VH1 special, "Where Are They Now". These 2 jackasses have done absolutely nothing, have made no positive contribution to society, yet are EVERYWHERE. Maybe Kate will get a real job and actually have to parent her kids instead of pawning them off on nannies, babysitters and whoever else is willing to deal with them. Lets hope for Mady's sake that whoever is doing the parenting right now isn't afraid of the 9 year old Nazi and teaches her some life skills because Jon & Kate are woefully lacking in parenting that kid successfully. She is a horrid child...just like her mother.

It was horrible to see such family broke apart.
Maybe parents were always right, but who are we to critize. We are all trying our best.....but i loved the kids and even they were not on the best behavor, but is realty tv. I wish them all well and hope things get back to some normal lives....love you guys

Jon and Kate are both awful people. They BOTH wanted the TV show and they BOTH used the money to spoil themselves. Jon bought Ed Hardy everything two sizes too small and a useless motorcycle, kate got a lot of plastic surgery and a haircut that looks like an emo porcupine that knocked a bottle of peroxide on itself. They only focused on the kids when the cameras were rolling, but they were detatched scenarios that brought excitement for two seconds that no normal family would do in real life. Going to the bakery to make their own little cakes? Not many businesses would do that. They also spent so much to spoil their kids and themselves so they are all, as a family (How sweet is that?), spoiled little brats that cry and whine when they don't get their way. I wish TLC would pull the reruns of their show off the air because it is a waste of time.

Be it Octomom or Jon & Kate, I never understood why extreme fertility made someone a celebrity.Freakshow mentality, I guess. If they want ridiculous numbers of children, that's none of my business. I chose to have none I really don't care unless they expect me to help pay for theirs.

Cannot figure out what Kate saw in Jon in the FIRST place........however, she berated him so rudely on camera, one can only imagine how she treated him when the cameras were NOT rolling. This was a marriage doomed to failure - show or no show......the stress of "caring" for the kids added to the reasons why they were bound to split...
