Kate Gosselin: Too Hot For TV?

Kate Gosselin filmed a pilot for a new talk show, but high-level executives reportedly shelved the project, deciding the TV mom is too controversial for their airwaves. A source told RadarOnline.com that the show, with co-hosts Paula Deen, Lee Woodruff and Rene Syler, is still being shopped around to other buyers but it doesn't stand much of a chance.

The Momlogic pilot has been described as 'The View' for working moms, tackling issues like teen pregnancy along with lighter gabbing. Apparently, Gosselin was not only too edgy for the executives' taste, she was simply "not ready" for a full-time hosting job.

Food Network star Paula Deen was the intended star of the project, and exces were concerned that Gosselin's year in the tabloid's would upset the balance. "There was a lot of arguing," the source told RadarOnline.

Fear not - Gosselin will be back on your TV sets before long. Though TLC has yet to finalize the concept, the cable network has committed to a new show starring Gosselin in the spring.

I'm with you. I wouldn't watch any show that has either of the Gosslins on it. I love Paula Deen but I wouldn't even watch her is Kate Gosslin is a co-host.

sometimes the media drags these type of folks from show to show and confuses this with popularity

I change the channel if either these "child abusers" are on. the list includes octomom, the girls who were victims of "tiger Woods", and all of their folks of the same ilk..

OMG! Not again. I thought we were finally rid of Hateful Kate when that show John and "Hate" Plus Eight aired its final episode. But, no. There is no way I will EVER watch any show that has her as a host or co-host. Please listen producers...there is nothing of value she has to share with any woman on this earth...except maybe how NOT to be a good wife and mother.

I couldn't have said it better myself! Who does this loser think she is? Where did she get the idea that she has what it takes to do a talk show, movie or Dancing with the Stars?! Where's the talent? She's just a woman who had too many kids which she gets paid tremendously for, and yet she never seems to be home with them!

Well said! Kate is an embarrassment! I say 'boycott' Kate! Do not watch any of her shows, do not by this hypocrites book and force her to get back to a life where she has to work her regular job (as a nurse) and raise her own children again! When are you supposed to spend time with your children, Kate, if you are all over the nation promoting yourself???!

Dear God, when will this woman simply go away? TLC just doesnt' get it .... "controversy" only sells when it's a current issue and short-lived. Kate Gosselin is like a bad smell you can't get rid of. She's shallow, boring, annoying and not worth our time ... and sadly, her kids are not appealing, but are obnoxious and whiney. In a poor economy where we are ALL struggling, we want fun, talent and uplifting entertainment. Not another ( God help us ) "reality show" with someone who has already milked her 15 minutes for more that it was worth. Working women have their own burdens to bear without watching that overaged BRAT make a career out of raising her brood and droning out another show. TLC, don't waste your sponsors time or money. We are sick of Kate and her Eight.

So well said... won't these people just go away?? Let's wait a couple of years and we can just follow the kids in their poor little messed up lives. They are the biggest losers in all of this, although most of the time it seems like WE are the losers. Actually, i think TLC should be ASHAMED of themselves for throwing gasoline on this fire for years and letting these two ignorant, fame hungry jerks take their kids along on this car-wreck. ENOUGH of them BOTH!!!!

I'm with you-who watches this show anymore? I saw an interview she gave where every other word was "I"-I want to be in a movie-I want to voice a cartoon character-so self absorbed. I never understood who watched her show when loser Jon was in it. I'm a single mom-if I wasnt to hear whiney kids I've got them-GO AWAY GOSSELIN FAMILY_WE'RE SICK OF ALL OF YOU!

Thank you Lord for granting prayers!!! This woman is an afront to single working Mothers everywhere who struggle and have dreams of having enough food for their children, not dream of being on "Dancing with the stars." Honey YOU ARE NOT A STAR! You are a wannabe. Use your nursing degree to get a job, put your kids in public school , sell the house, and devote your life to your children.... see what it's like to spend time with them, since you never do.

I agree 100% with you. I wish to add that the sensationalism surrounding her and other "REALITY Idiots" is becuase of the media's lack of class and civility. as long as there are low class viewers, the rubbish will continue.
