Michael Jackson's death struck a chord with the world, and our audience, who voted it the biggest story of the year.

The tragic turn of the King of Pop's life topped our poll with a staggering 83 percent of the vote, while Susan Boyle's rise to fame had the second most votes with 8 percent.

NO QUESTIONS< HE WAS A TALENTED PERSON, by what he was talented with is a very mediocre type of music=that can better be described as NOISES. ANY BODY WHO ABUSED OF HIS BODY WITH THE LARGE AMMOUNT OF DRUGS HE HAD EACH DAY IS TO ME A MENTALLY UNBALANCED PERSON.and practically a genuine idiot.

Michael's death was the biggest story of the year, for most people. If he did it, I dont know, sure looks like he did pay off some of the loser parents. But its not up to me to judge, or anyone else at this time. The man is gone, where im from we never speak badly about the dead. Its in poor taste to do that to anyone. I still pray for his mother and siblings, I know how it feels to lose a brother.

What a total joke.
Look,when Walt Disney died the world lost a very important person.When Roy Rogers died the world lost an important entertainer and role model.
John lennon was more intelligent song writer than MJ would ever have been,and Elvis was a bigger singer and entertainer than MJ ever was.
MJ was just a bettor than average entertainer but no where near the importance of those I mentioned and I'm sure there are more.
The media has forced this garbage down our throats to the point that it is very,let me repeat very annoying.It should have ended a couple of days after his death.

Listen to the bias in this story? You call it Michael Jackson's death and it should be his murder. He didn't die of natural causes. He was prescribed more medicine than Mexico. He had more holes in him than a pinata. Janet Jackson backed up a truck and tampered with the crime scene. This wasn't the most important story it was the biggest cover-up of the year. You can't have it both ways. Either give it serious coverage or let MJ rest in peace.

I agree...there is a lot of jeaousy which is why some people want to ignore the facts (that MJ was extorted and never hurt a soul). MJ was the King..and still is and always will be. Lovwed WORLDWIDE by the more highly evolved folks who get just what a fantastic STAR that he was on this planet. He was the best entertainer of all time and gave more time and money to charity than anyone...it is in the Guiness Book of World Records. He is and always will be LOVED. Take that, jealous haters out there!!
