Sheen, Mueller to Give Counseling a Try

Following Charlie Sheen's domestic violence arrest on Christmas, the actor and wife Brooke Mueller are reportedly planning to enter marriage counseling in order to salvage their relationship. A PEOPLE source says that a booze-fueled holiday fight led to Sheen's arrest, and that both he and Mueller have a long history of alcohol abuse.

The PEOPLE source says that on Christmas Eve, the two began fighting and it carried over into Christmas Day. "Both of them were drinking and neither was supposed to be. They both have histories of alcohol abuse and have made every effort to stop. But things got out of hand," the source said.

Sheen was later arrested and booked for for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief in Aspen, Colorado, where Mueller had been staying.

As for now, the source says that "Both he and Brooke will undergo counseling and Charlie will get anger management counseling."

Mueller and Sheen had their first children together -- twin boys Bob and Max -- earlier this year. During that time, Sheen gave an interview to In Touch Weekly, saying that Mueller was "s unbelievable. She's so great, caring, focused, compassionate, lovingand selfless and eager to be involved and to learn. Her mom instincts are all there."

Gee...what a great Christmas....you would think they would focus on they are now parents of twin boys...and they are supposed to take care of these children...make them happy and secure. Drunk parents fighting and going to jail on Christmas...that makes for a merry Christmas. Where were the children through all this? Oh...they probably have a nanny...do not think that makes it all okay? Grow up both of you and get some help.

ok, this chick is a new mom of twins and getting drunk before 8 am on CHRISTMAS??! What?! Great mom. Yeah. If I were Denise I would try to keep Lola and Sam from this guy other than supervised visits for quite some time. What if he gets in some domestic violence drama around them??

Just like I said; He must have been drinking again.
I read that he had quit back in about '98. But when I read about him shoving his wife, or g.f., I figured that it was a drunken fight. There's a lot more of Charlie Harper in Charlie Sheen than what meets the eye. Some articles refer to his "marriage" with Mueller, adn some refer to the "relationship" . Does anybody know for sure if he is married to her or not ?

So where were the kids when BOTH their parents were being drunk idiots and messing up the poor babies first Christmas?

Because if they were there with the nanny then the nanny should be questioned about why she did not report both parents for being drunk and if the kids were with the parents without benefit of a nanny then they should be charged with child endangerment--and if the kids weren't even anywhere with them then both parents should be shot for abandoning their not even year old twins on their first Christmas so they could get drunk and be stupid--but then its probably because they were drunk and stupid last Christmas that they have twins to worry about this Christmas.
