Charlie Sheen allegedly held his wife Brooke Mueller at knifepoint and threatened to have her killed if she told anyone, according to a police affidavit released Monday. After Mueller phone 911 (hear the call on TMZ) in a panic that Sheen had threatened her with a "knife," officers went to a home in Aspen. Mueller told police that she and Sheen were arguing in the bedroom when she said she threatened to file for divorce. That's when Sheen allegedly grabbed her by the upper part of her throat while straddling her on the bed and pulled out a pocket knife.During the 911 call, she is heard crying as she says she is "scared" for her life after he "threatened" her. She tells the dispatcher that Sheen is "in the back room" with the knife -- which she describes as a "switch blade" -- and fears that he is trying to "sneak out the back" of the house in Aspen. (Listen to the call here.) "I gotta file this report," Brooke says in the call.
Contrary to Mueller's 911 claims, Sheen denied threatening her with a knife.
But she insisted to the officer that Sheen said, "You better be in fear. If you tell anybody, I'll kill you."
Mueller said Sheen also told her, "Your mother's money means nothing. I have ex-police I can hire who know how to get the job done and they won't leave any trace," according to the affidavit, which also stated that an officer later noticed Mueller had "red marks on the upper part of the front of her neck."
Mueller told the officer that she managed to get Sheen off her by telling him, "You're right. You're right. You're right. I'm sorry. I love you."
Sheen was later booked for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief and spent most of his Christmas Day behind bars. He was released on $8,500 bond late Friday. Prosecutors say they probably won't decide until Sheen's next court appearance Feb. 8 whether to file charges against the actor.In December 1996, Sheen was arrested for attacking ex-girlfriend Brittany Ashfield at his home in Southern California. He pleaded guilty in 1997 and was placed on two years' probation.
Pitkin County Department of Social Services is "aware" of the alleged incident between Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller -- and the department is considering whether to pursue an investigation, reports TMZ. Sheen and Mueller have two 9-month-old children together -- and Charlie has two young daughters from his relationship with Denise Richards.
Officials at the PCDSS say, "When there is a domestic dispute and children are present in the home, we are always notified."
The official added, "If the family is vacationing in Pitkin County, and we feel that a thorough follow up is needed, we will contact the department where the family resides."

Now remember, this is a man who believes 9-11 was an inside job. Can you imagine your daughter being dumb enough to get with a guy like this. They're both idiots. You should try doing your own investigating of the 911 disaster. There was recently a show on True TV called "Conspiracy Theory" (hosted by ex governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura) on every Wednesday at 10 PM East Coast time. There were exgovernment officials, eye witnesses, and even scientists that have made some bizarre and chilling discoveries about what actually happened on 9/11. Its sad that ole' Charlie is making a bad name for himself but don't use his name to delegitamize all of the hard work that ex government officials, scientists, and everyday people like you and me have been doing. I personally feel that people at least desrve the truth about our government's involvement in corruption, deceit, and lies on a global scale! What does Sheen have to do with facts and evidence of an informal investigation?

Face it - it was 8 something AM on Christmas morning. They were both drunk as skunks. If the police came to any other family and found both parents fighting and drunk on Christmas morning, the kids would be taken away. People always want to deny the fact that there are different laws for the rich and famous and different laws for the poor and average.

Excuse me Leroy, this woman isn't making it up in order to gain sympathy. Have you ever been choked, especially by someone much larger than you? That act will cause her medical problems in the future as well. I was choked by a man who tried to kill me, when I was just twenty-two years of age, and I'm still suffering from it today, many years later. She was in a life and death situation. Do you understand the trauma that can cause in a person/victim? It's no different than fighting on the front lines in a war, she was battling for her life. The sad thing is she will be scared for the rest of her life for what he did to her, not to mention the medical problems it will cause her down the road either. Charlie is mentally ill, and needs help. Don't turn this around on the victim. He's trying to scare her into staying with him, it's called abuse, period!

Becky, you are making this about your experience! She knew when she married him, how he had previous problems with his ex-wives. She was not afraid of him to threaten him with divorce, knowing he was drinking. She just grew balls with the countless drinks she had and decided to goad him. Any violence is not acceptable, but neither is pushing your luck with a drunk man.Your experience does not equate with hers, so , quit turning it into an innocent victim scenario. She knows what he is like yet she taunted him, then had to sooth him out of his anger. They are both wrong, plus what is she doing drinking so much knowing she has two 9 month old children to look after? Why would she have children from him at all is beyond me, except that she wants alimony...They are both dysfunctional and will benefit from counseling, hopefull for their children's sake.
charlie's a dirtbag, no question. but brooke is a dumb bimbo. how much "history" does even a rich handsome guy have to have before women refuse to date him?
