Forget the Ball, Kathy Griffin Drops F-Bomb on New Year's Special

Never-subtle comedian Kathy Griffin stunned her TV co-host Anderson Cooper on CNN's New Year's Eve special by dropping something other than that famous Times Square ball: a certified F-Bomb.

While Griff and Coop were chatting about the top stories of the year and got to Falcon "Balloon Boy" Heene, the funnywoman decided to give viewers a present and fumble the kid's first name. Even though the CNN host had already said "Falcon" to her, Griffin asked: "Fal ... Fu--ing? Falcon? How do you say it?"

Cooper's response to Griffin? "You're terrible. Really terrible." Watch:

CNN released a statement Friday saying it "regrets that profanity was used during our New Year's Eve coverage."

Griffin followed with a snark-filled statement of her own: "Like every other serious reporter covering the now infamous balloon boy hoax, I struggled to pronounce his name 'Falcon' correctly and have gotten a kick out of how many ways I've heard it pronounced by other serious reporters. Just add me to that list and happy new year!"

It's not her using the F Word, it is her demeanor (you know what that means don't you?) and that she is a pig and not funny. Her references to sex are disgusting and ukncalled for. Just because she has no self-respect does not mean we have to be subjected to her mental illness and that is what she is a mentally ill, attention getting idiot!

She may have grown up in the tony suburb of Oak Park, but she's lower than any 'trailer trash' you can think of. Her 'act' consists of talking about others - people who wouldn't waste time sneezing on her. However, the real culprit is the person who told her she was funny in the first place, and the people who continue to hire her. What did they expect??

I don't know why Anderson Cooper lowers himself to cohost with Kathy Griffin. She is just the most disgusting and foul mouthed excuse for a human being. She is and never has been funny. She has no couth and the way she is shows she has absolutely no self-respect. She is pathetic!!!!

For all present and future advertisers, I automatically change the channel when I see this woman's face. I love satire, humor and taking legitimate shots at public figures but she is nasty, blasphemous, embarassing and not someone that I want my family to see or hear. I bet millions more agree.

I didn't go near CNN for New Year's Eve because I knew Griffin was going to be "on" and expected her to scream out for everyone to have a "F--king Happy New Year! She is the only one who thinks she is cute or funny, obviously a very unhappy and hostile person who hates herself, and curses God, her country, her Mother, and anything else she thinks will shock and offend! Keep her on HBO with the losers who appreciate her!
