Howard Stern's Sidekick Artie Lange Hospitalized

Artie Lange, Howard Stern's troubled sidekick, is in a New Jersey hospital for an unknown issue, TMZ reports.

"I can confirm that Artie is in the hospital. Artie has chosen to keep all information on this matter between him and his doctor. There will be no further comment," a statement from his rep said.

The 42-year-old comedian, who has struggled with drug abuse in the past, hasn't appeared on Stern's radio show since December and has canceled several of his upcoming stand-up dates.

Lange was also busted in 2009 for a DUI.

Artie is a disgusting slob...and has never been funny, and never will be....I used to listen to Howard when it was on regular radio, but I never liked him enough to pay money to listen to him...mostly I tuned in just for the shock value of his show, but even that wore off....Howard isn't all he thinks he is....how did he get that beautiful Beth to marry him? oops ....I forgot...had to be the money....imagine living with Howard as anal as he is? Hope she gets a good allowance! LOL

I heard the show before, it was all **this, and su** that. Only a grade schooler would want to hear that mess. I do hope this man gets better, then gets a real job that requires some physical acts, such as getting up to get his own donuts.

Some of you people have NO HEART. This is a human being that needs help. Wether it be drugs or regular health problems he is sick and right now his family, friends and him need prayers and kind words. Not sarcastic ass remarks that are being made.

Get well Artie!

To all the haters of the Stern show, I say this:
you take life and yourselves too seriously, you have no real sense of humor or you really are not intelligent enough to get the joke. That is the truth and it doesn't matter what you say...You don't get it. Howard is a genius who has changed radio for the better and makes more money in 1 year than you or I will see in our lifetime and he deserves it.
