Former 'American Idol' Contestant Jason Castro Marries

He stole the hearts of women across America with his guitar and dreads, but Jason Castro is now off the market.

The former 'American Idol' contestant -- who finished fourth on the seventh season of the show -- married his girlfriend Mandy Mayhall in a ceremony Saturday near his hometown of Dallas, PEOPLE reports.

The 22-year-old Castro and Mayhall announced their engagement in November. The singer allegedly proposed last Halloween in costume.

Castro is planning to release an album in the spring and will tour later this year.

LOL - I was going to joke and say "what's his spouse's name" but that seemed snarky. No jason is really talented, and quite a hottie (he' also the same age as my oldest son, I can dream). I wish them all the best luck in the world and break a leg with the new album!

That nappy, matted hair!!!!!!!! How could anyone with any kind of hygiene habits wear that nasty hair? It don't get shampooed until it starts falling out, so I've heard. He would be a nice looking kid with a decent doo, without a hundred pigtails. As far as his talent, it's OK, better than these stupid rappers but nothing to write home about.
