Former 'American Idol' Contestant Jason Castro Marries

He stole the hearts of women across America with his guitar and dreads, but Jason Castro is now off the market.

The former 'American Idol' contestant -- who finished fourth on the seventh season of the show -- married his girlfriend Mandy Mayhall in a ceremony Saturday near his hometown of Dallas, PEOPLE reports.

The 22-year-old Castro and Mayhall announced their engagement in November. The singer allegedly proposed last Halloween in costume.

Castro is planning to release an album in the spring and will tour later this year.

Wow you guys are such jerks!!! I went to middle school and high school with Jason and let me tell you he is an amazing human being! He's extremely polite, honest and has something some of you are lacking.. MORALS! He goes on mission trips with his family and is very active in our church.. Not only that but I think he's a great musician.. I think you're forgetting the show is called American Idol.. you're probably the people who vote for a homosexual to be the so called "Idol".. Idiots.
