Camila Alves gave birth to the couple's second child together -- a daughter, Vida.
"Happy New Year everybody!!!! On Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 12:13 am, Camila gave birth to a healthy 7lb, 7oz. baby girl named 'Vida Alves McConaughey,'" a statement on the actor's official
Web site read.
"Vida' is Portuguese for 'life' and that's what God gave us this morning ... Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family ... Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks," the statement continued.
The 40 year-old McConaughey and 26-year-old Alves also have a 17-month-old son Levi.

It appears Hollywood is overflowing with men who hold women is such disrespect as to sire children with them but refuse to marry them for fear of losing some of their amassed fortunes, and women who will lay down with "dogs will get up with fleas", for a chance of wining in a financial settlerment. How sad is America to regard these people as idols, roll models, or political leaders.

Here Here, you are so right. These are young beautiful stupid women who think that by having a child they will never have to work because they can always get child support if the baby's daddy gets tired of her, or wants a new piece of ass.
Big assumption here - how do you know and why would you assume that he's the one that won't get married??? Maybe it's HER choice.
Not the way I was raised, but then again, I guess it's really not any of my business. But, no, I don't like it, and it sends the wrong message, which is probably the worse damage it does.
