I really like watching "Deadliest Catch" most of the guys on the boats seem like genuinely good guys. They work very, very hard & take a tremendous risk every time they leave port so to hear that this guy was arrested for robbery is suprising. These guys make really good money but from watching the show avidly, it was obvious they didn't do a background check on the men who came on board. Sad to hear. Hope the show has continued success....

Except for that bottom feeder, Matt on the Northwestern
Actually, if you really watched the show, you will recall they came arrested someone off the Time Bandit and Capt Johnathon said, "the fish and game run background checks on crab fishermen, so don't go crab fishing if you have warrants." Get your fact straight!
Thats one of the best shows on TV today. You can't get much more excitment from a show then you can from the deadliest catch. Im an avid fan, and have been watching every episode. Today there's too many ACTORS, these guys on the Wizard, and North Western. etc. are the real heros. Well I guess there has to be one bad crab, But at least he's gone. Keep it going guys
Fishing Alaska or robbery? Both tough risky jobs but the penalty for mistake is less for robbery. Dying a cold wet death off a boat in the Bering Sea? At least he's alive!

Tech.....so are you trying to say it's better to go the "safer" route rob someone than it is to risk your life working hard to earn and honest keep? Perfect example of what I said in my earlier post.
I live about 30 miles away from the town he was
arrested in which was E Peoria, IL. Across the
river from Peoria. Those E Peoria cops are tough,
so don't expect to get away with anything in that
town.

I love Deadliest Catch and can't wait until their new season starts. It's a shame this kid has a sordid past.

My husband and I watch Deadliest Catch every season. I remember this kid very well. He was a lazy peice of crap who wanted something for nothing, like most these days, and I was happy to see him go. It's not surprising he's being charged with two seperate counts of robbery, after all, why work for it when you can just steal it!

I remember him as well, he was the one that Mouse was ragging on because he had put his girlfriend's picture up in the area where he was working with the bait, on deck. It was funny, after Capt Keith, Mouse and the kid talked in the wheelhouse, Capt Keith asked his brother if he was finished formenting the green horn, he said "for now". Funny. Kid had a major league attitude and no ambition.
THIS JACKASS WAS NEVER A STAR ON THE SHOW!

He most likely has a drug problem.

This loser was a lowly deckhand, and was never part of the core group of REAL fishermen who are in this series. The real men who work on those vessel's are I'm sure embarrassed that this moron is even remotely attached to them. This show might not be for everyone, but if you've ever worked a shift on or near these ships, you'll never be the same. This kid couldn't cut it then, and obviously can't now..

The Peoria cops can start their own show: "The Dregliest Catch". Tune in to see who we reel in next week! I hope he don't have crabs...could make the strip search kinda chummy!
