Padma Lakshmi Having a Baby Girl?

'Top Chef' host Padma Lakshmi sat down with Jimmy Fallon last month to talk about her pregnancy and might have spilled the beans about the sex of her baby (via Just Jared).

When Fallon asks, "What's happening with the baby now?", Lakshmi starts to answer and then seems to catch herself after a few words. "She was kicking... uh... he was kicking... I'm not saying which one... I use she and he intermittently!"

Lakskmi announced in October that she is pregnant with her first child, but the father has not been revealed, although reports suggest she has been linked to IMG CEO Ted Forstmann. The 'Chef' star was formerly married to novelist Salman Rushdie.

The 39-year-old Lakshmi had confirmed she had struggled for years with the medical condition endometriosis, which can lead to infertility. Endometriosis is the condition in which the uterus' lining expands and grows into other areas of the body.

"This pregnancy has been referred to by her physician as nothing short of a medical miracle, and due to its delicate nature, we ask/implore the press to respect Ms. Lakshmi's privacy at this time," Lakshmi's rep told Us Weekly in October.

I agree. The only thing she does is look pretty at the dinner table surrounded by some of the world's best chefs & tries to chime in "her opinion" of the food when she has no idea what she's talking about.Oh- and her one liner-"pack your knives and go..." Pathetic.

She doesn't wear really nice outfits. She has the WORST stylist I have ever seen. Some (most) of her outfits actually make me cringe. She's Kmart meets Frederick's of Hollywood. Here's hoping she doesn't lose her job, cause she could never make it on Project Runway.

I don't understand why anyone including celebs try to keep the gender of their baby a secret. Its no one's business but she was talking about the baby so obviously she's fine w/people knowing she's pregnant. Due dates and names are a different story b/c I wouldn't want the media stalking me when I'm about to give birth and some people are paranoid that someone else will use their name.

Why does she think anyone cares what the sex of her baby is? I've never understood what the big deal is if people know what celebs are having unless they don't want to know themselves. Personally I couldn't care less.

If you don't care then don't click the headline and just ignore it that easy. Thats up to the celebs if they want to say what the sex of the baby is I don't mind if celebs want to say the sex of the baby is just like I respect people that want to be surprise about the sex of the baby it's a personal choice.

She is beautiful and I am so happy for her miracle. She wears a scar that reminds her that the past is real and the scar does not wear her.Kudos to her, she has always been a class act. I never noticed her scar until they did an article on her in a magazine, she made me feel that a woman with a scar can be sexy. She inspired me to stop hiding my scar(from where I tried to rescue a MD from the University of Miami-dumb MD I might ad, he damn near got me killed)
