A new, "authorized" biography outlining the purported bedroom achievements of Warren Beatty has been denounced by the actor as inaccurate - and very unauthorized. According to the New York Post, author Peter Biskind writes that Beatty has had sex with "12,775 women, give or take, a figure that does not include daytime quickies, drive-bys, casual gropings, stolen kisses and so on." In a statement to the Huffington Post, Beatty's attorney says the book was never sanctioned by the 72-year-old star."Mr. Biskind's tedious and boring book on Mr. Beatty was not authorized by Mr. Beatty and should not be published as an authorized biography," writes the attorney, Bertram Fields. "It contains many false assertions and purportedly quotes Mr. Beatty as saying things he never said. Other media should not repeat things from the book on the assumption that they are true or that the book is an authorized biography."
The biography claims that Beatty lost his virginity when he was almost 20, and made up for lost time with nearly every actress in Hollywood. Among his alleged bed partners were Joan Collins, Leslie Caron, Isabelle Adjani, Julie Christie, Diane Keaton, and Jane Fonda. According to the book, Fonda told Biskind that she originally thought Beatty was gay, but their love affair changed her mind.
"Oh, my God. We kissed until we had practically eaten each other's heads off," Biskind claims he was told by Beatty.

Even though I am much younger than Mr. Beatty I watched "Splendor in the Grass" and fell in love! He was gorgeous~~ mmm
Even at 72 he has something about him. He may have been a manwhore, but, he couldn't help it! I'm sure many women WANTED to be with him!!!!

Slag!
Yes, his famous movie with Natalie Wood. The ONLY honest book out right now about celebrities is Goodbye Natalie Goodbye Splendour. ANd, although Natalie was his most famous love affair, she isn't even mentioned in all of the hype!
Yucky, he is like a walking petri dish of doom. That many women the odds are that he caught something a time or two.
This author needs to get a life. Cashing in on some playboy's sexual escapades is simple and lacks creativity. Sex sells and this author knows it. I agree it is tedious and boring for people that actually like to read something with substance.
I'd like to read it just to settle the debate, as to whether or not Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" was written about him

No Joe! It was about me? Or was it you? Or was it that other kid in high school? or maybe.....
All these years I've heard that "You're So Vain" was written about Mick Jagger.
I understand it was about her ex James Taylor.
Wrong, Song was written about Mick Jagger, as told By Carly in a Rolling Stone interview.
Oh, big deal. I've had 14,612 women.

Oh good, Im only 14600 behind you.
Yeh, right. Say he did that for 40 years, that's almost once a day, EVERY DAY FOR 40 YEARS. He should move the decimal point to the left.

Think this controversy might sell a few books? Think Beatty might benefit monitarily from the increased sale? Does anyone care?

One, but she was enough and still is.

Awww, very sweet, Kevin! I applaud you! Your wife is a very lucky woman.
Kevin:
What a lovely thing to say. Your wife is a very lucky woman. May you two have many years of happiness together.
And in the grand scheme of things this matters: A. It's insignificant, B. Not at all, C. Who cares? or D. All of the above. Answer: D. All of the above

Once a day for 40 years is not that crazy to imagine. But with his lifestyle, there could very well have been 5-10 women in one day! I'm sure that number is exaggerated, however it's not impossible. (and he WAS quite the womanizer)

There's an old saying, even though many may not be aware. Real "Ladys men" are also real "mens men". How many dudes do you think this so-called "fantastic stud" has got it on with?
