Tiger Woods Takes His Shirt Off for Vanity Fair

A bare-chested Tiger Woods graces the cover of the upcoming Vanity Fair, lifting weights in the photos taken by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz before his sex scandal erupted.

Pulitzer-Prize-winning author Buzz Bissinger delves into the world's most famous golfer's fall from grace.

According to Bissinger, Woods' approval rating following revelations of his reported affairs has plummeted -- from 87 percent in 2005, to 33 percent in 2009.

Bissinger writes that Woods' persona always seemed carefully controlled -- except for one interview he gave in 1997 for GQ.

"What I can't figure out is why so many good-looking women hang around baseball and basketball. Is it because, you know, people always say that, like, black guys have big d---s?" Woods said.

The golfer made a joke by rubbing the tips of his shoes together and describing it as "a black guy taking his condom off." He also made another lewd quip about lesbians and oral sex, during the photo shoot for the magazine.

Woods' troubles began when he crashed his car at his Florida home after allegedly fighting with his wife, Elin Nordegren. After the accident, reports of his infidelities trickled in, first with Rachel Uchitel, then many more women came forward claiming a romantic entanglement with the superstar athlete.

That is a very badly done photo. It looks to have been taken by someone not professional, with a Polaroid. Not at all very appealing.

Tiger is making decisions that are really risky. He has lost so many of his sponsers because He cheated and broke his families heart. Anyone in sports knows Tiger works out so what does he have to prove? He needs to focus on keeping his family and keeping his pants up. Maybe he should take Britt Hume's advice. But if Tiger truly was a good practicing Buhudist he wouldn't cheat on his family.

This whole Tiger thing has me delving into the phisophical business of why we never seem to be satisfied. Somewhat like King Solomon who had it all...it wasn't enough...untill he decided to set the bar at: Reasonable Contentment as a goal....good lesson for all.

UGH!!!! What a disgusting picture. One thing for sure it makes you think the ladies who slept with him must have been desperate. At the very least it sure doesn't say much about the taste of the women that slept with him. Leads me to believe they were just using him to either get to his money or get their 15 minutes of fame. The pix does make him look like a convict. The gray background, the cap, the weights, the long face. Of course right now he has put himself in a prison of his own making so perhaps its appropriate in that sense. And people wonder why stereotypes of Black men are very much alive....that pic and Tiger's actions tell ya why.
