Sheen's Wife Reportedly Went to Alcohol Rehab While Pregnant With Twins

Brooke Mueller reportedly went to alcohol rehab while she was five months pregnant with her and Charlie Sheen's twin boys according to a new report from RadarOnline. Sheen, who has been through rehab twice and was arrested over Christmas weekend on charges of domestic violence against Mueller, is said to have blamed Mueller's drinking for a heart problem one of their boys has.

Adding to the ongoing whirlwind of drama in the Sheen family, RadarOnline reports that bottles of alcohol were found in Mueller's car during her pregnancy, which led to undisclosed individuals confronting her.

According to a Radar source, Sheen looked to Mueller after their son Max was born with a heart defect that kept him in the hospital weeks after the two were born prematurely. "The couple argued bitterly and Charlie told Brooke the medical problem was her fault for boozing while pregnant," Radar reports.

Mueller was once arrested on an alcohol-related charge, and was also busted once on cocaine charges.

The duo made headlines on Christmas day when Sheen was arrested on domestic violence charges in Aspen, Colorado. The couple had "sober minders" with them, aimed at keeping them away from booze. During Mueller's call to 911, she's heard referencing the other people in the house, and tells the operator that Sheen had a knife.

The couple have not made any announcements about their future together, despite various (and contrary) media reports claiming that they're both working on their relationship and also hiring divorce lawyers.

Upon the arrival of their twin boys, Sheen told In Touch Weekly that Mueller was an "unbelievable" mother who is "so great, caring, focused, compassionate, loving and selfless" He went on to say that Bob and Max "made me a better man. People think when they get married it will solve selfishness and be about the other person, but really that doesn't happen until you have children."

This is what I think happend. During the argument accusations were being thrown around, and her drinking while pregnant came up. So, her being the drunk that she is she decided to call 911 and make all those false allegations before he could say anything. That is why now that she is sober she wants to recant her statements. What I don't understand is she said that there were people there. Why havn't they been called as witnesses? Another thing is that she seemed so intent on making that report. I think this is because she wanted to be the first one to get something on paper and not because he assaulted her.

How sad for these little boys. FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome) is the result of a pregnant woman drinking alcohol during her pregnancy and affecting the physicial/neuro development of her baby. These little guys will probably have learning difficulties and require special education, tutors, or both when they enter school. Too bad mom didn't drink herself off this planet before she became pregnant with these babies.

God, you are no respecter of person but why do I suffer so much trying to make ends meet doing the right things, working, helping where I can and these too make oodles of money and use if for the wrong things? I will continue to serve you (God) and love you and please, please, please, throw your arms of protection around those two innocent boys. I know everyone hates Charlie Sheen, but for the first time, it seems as if he was the stable one in this relationship.

Amazing. Martin Sheen had to turn is Charlie because he was so out of control and he feared that Charlie was going to end uo dead. I have never heard of his brother Emilio being in this sort of trouble. Remember when a previous girl friend by the name of Kelly Preston was "accidently " shot by Charlie Sheen? I have heard of no problems regarding Preston after she married John Travolta. Yet there are people on here who are defending Charlie Sheen and his drunken escapades. And then ther is the fact that Charlie is a "Truther" Charlie and Brooke deserve each other. The shame is that the children have to suffer because of it.

Parents with drug and alcohol addictions should not be parents....these babies will definitely have alcohol related health issues sad to say.....
BOTH these pathetic parents seriously need to clean up their "act" and raise those beautiful babies the way they should, in a healthy loving environment.....

"What kind of woman drinks and goes to rehab when they are pregnant?" PLEASE. Many women are in need of help. It is the stigma of being pregnant and having an addiction that keeps many a woman from seeking help while pregnant. As a therapist who specifically treats pregnant substance using women I see this every day. They need all of the love and support they can get while in recovery. Many women cannot stop even when it is about more than just them. Guilt, shame, remorse and sadness are so strong in those women that cannot stop drinking or using drugs, especially while pregnant.
