Katharine McPhee Busts Out on Conan

Katharine McPhee certainly knows how to rekindle the McPheever that infected everyone during her 'American Idol' days. The starlet already unveiled her new blond 'do to PopEater a few months ago, and now she's showing off more -- as you'll see in her performance on 'The Tonight Show.' The formerly brunette songstress flaunted more than her voice to Conan O'Brien thanks to a remarkably revealing top. See For Yourself:

In October, McPhee spoke to PopEater about what inspired her new blonde look: "It wasn't spur of the moment. I can't say it wasn't calculated because I didn't want it to be a complete disaster and have my hair fall out, but it was a natural thing to do. I always wanted to know what it was like to have blond hair. People get complacent and know you as the girl with long brown curly hair. People always say 'Oh, your hair is so beautiful and curly.' Really, my hair is completely pin-straight. I have no wave in my hair. So this image gets created, which is great because then people identify you, but I just wanted to turn things upside down. I felt like seeing what it was like to be blond with short hair and doing something people wouldn't expect. It's fun. Now I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and see a different person. Maybe six months from now it will be a redhead."

She's an idiot. In a sea of unnatural blondes in Hollywood, she stood out, and was gorgeous, as a brunette. The haircut isn't cute, either. She has pretty boobs, though.

When did she start singing country music? Whatever... I think she sounds best when singing standards and classical. Sounded great when singing with Andrea Bocelli on David Foster and Friends. Her hair.... Hmmmm. Ummm. It looks dry and is not flattering. She was much much better as a brunette. Now she blends in with all the other Fake Tarts.

I don't think her boobs are hanging out a ridiculous amount. I have seem MANY dresses and tops that are like that..even when I was in high school at prom! And, I love her hair. I don't care for this song, but her looks are just fine. She's beautiful, and if she wants to change her hair color, Who Cares!? Worry about YOUR hair.

Certainly not EVERYONE was infected. Most people have NO idea who she is, and NEVER will.

She looked great and sounded really good for someone just getting over strep throat. Had It All was written by Kara DioGuardi, who is hardly a country artist, nor is Katharine. In fact HIA has a sound/vibe that is somewhat different from most of the rest of the album, but people will figure that out after they've heard it. And for heaven's sake, she wore outfits that were just as revealing on Idol so what's that fuss about. Someday she'll do a standards album and grow her hair back, so everybody relax and enjoy what she's doing now. She's going to be on the music scene for a long time.
