Lindsay Lohan Ends Friendship Over Stolen Sketches

Aspiring clothing designer Lindsay Lohan is short one BFF in the new year. According to friends of the actress, she discovered the theft of several design sketches while vacationing on the island of St. Barth's. The suspect? Lohan's long-time friend Patrick "Pootie" Aufdenkamp. "I should've known better," Lohan herself told UsMagazine.com, noting that her friendship with "Pootie" was over. "But new year for me and a new beginning! Health, happiness, success and love!"

Lohan's 6126 leggings line is set to become a full clothing collection for fall 2010. "Patrick stole Lindsay's sketches for her new 6126 clothing line," says a friend of the actress. "He is now running off trying to do his own line. And telling people he's going to fashion market week in NYC on February 18 to debut his line."

The friend adds, "It's horrible. He was her best friend. He has always used her, and she's been warned to never trust him. Lindsay is a good friend and likes to see the good in people. She didn't want to believe how bad Patrick's energy was, and how false his friendship has always been with her."

Aufdenkamp responds to the allegations in an exclusive statement to Perez Hilton: "I stand by my integrity as an artist and my morals as a business person. I would like to see any shred of evidence that supports those ridiculous allegations, there is no evidence and there will be nothing Lindsay or her company can find to show otherwise. I'm way too creative of an individual to need to steal anything design-related from that girl."

Lohan's former friends says, "She knows how much my new line means to me and has seen first hand all the HARD and HONEST work I have put into bringing it to life. The fact that she is trying to take that away from me with a guilt free conscious and can still sleep at night is ... exactly what kind of person she is right now ... Just because her career is stuck at a stand still, mine is just taking off."

Aufdemkamp concludes, "From the bottom of my heart, I wish her nothing but a happy & healthy 2010."

i do not believe it is possible for one person to have so many insignficant items stolen so often in such a short time frame... she is most likely going to have a difficult submiting claims ....

u kno wat, personally i dont like lindsay much. but its so sad. she started a legging line, then her "best friend" stole her designs to make his own. thats horrible. if u guys hate her, u shouldat least show alittle pity.
