Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood Engaged?

Just a month after revealing he was back together with Evan Rachel Wood, shock rocker Marilyn Manson has reportedly popped the question to the 22-year-old starlet.

According to a blurb in the Daily Mirror, Manson asked Wood to marry him while performing onstage Tuesday at a concert in Paris. It was the singer's 41st birthday and a "delighted" Wood answered "yes."

We're awaiting the heartwarming episode to find its way to YouTube, which should be surreal considering his stage show is full of such dark and menacing imagery.

The goth god told Metal Hammer magazine last month he went through an "identity crisis" recently and that his reconciling with Wood -- with whom he first split from in October 2008 -- healed him.

"Sometimes you feel awkward being what you're best at, you feel like you have to be something new. But I think that a lot of people will agree that me being me at my best is what I need to be," adding, "I think that has really paid off because I'm back with Evan."

The 'Beautiful People' singer -- whose real name is Brian Warner -- was singing a different tune about Wood last spring in an interview with SPIN.com, in which he said he had "fantasies every day about smashing her skull in with a sledgehammer."

Manson is actually a very intelligent, talented musician. People should open themselves up a bit more to different things, and stop bashing people they only know through the media. Make your judgements after you've gotten to know a person, and keep your mouth shut til then.

I hate it that Evan Rachel Wood would marry Marilyn Manson. I just don't think they are the ideal couple. I think she is too beautiful for him. I love some of his music don't get me wrong. I just think she could be better off.
