It's officially SullyMania in the Big Apple. With less than two weeks to go before the anniversary of the "Miracle on the Hudson," hero captain Chesley B. Sullenberger and members of his crew, along with several lucky passengers, gathered in NYC Tuesday for the premiere of a TV film about their amazing story.'Brace for Impact' airs on TLC Sunday, Jan. 10 and recounts the day Sullenberger gently landed US Airways Flight 1549 into the Hudson River and the speedy rescue efforts that followed. The happenings of Jan. 15 2009 stand out as one of the most uplifting stories of a dreary 2009.
One individual her shares that sentiment is Sully himself, who chatted briefly on the red carpet with SyleList.com contributing editor Melissa Foss.
"People were looking for some good news in 2009, and this event made them realize that there are good people who do the right thing out there," Sullenberger said.

I was there and I must say that he was quite gracious to everyone that wanted to have their photo taken with him and talk to him. The first responders were there as well and loved talking about their experience to us too. It was a nice tribute to a job well done at a time when our country was so divided over the election results. We needed to have a hero to unite us and this team of people and they were.
