Miley Cyrus Is Done With 'Hannah Montana'

That's a wrap for Miley Cyrus as 'Hannah Montana,' as the teen queen is reportedly done with her teen alter-ego show this year, according to a new report. The New York Post claims reports Cyrus -- who shot to fame thanks to the double life-leading pop star 'Montana' -- is filming the fourth and final season of the show, leaving Miley all of the opportunities she wants to do different (see: more grown up) roles in the future.

Disney Channel Worldwide's Adam Bonnett, senior VP/programming told the Post that "right now we're scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes."

Over the last year or so, Cyrus has hinted that she would eventually move on from the teen-friendly role. She's already begun to break out in other acting roles, as her star power and allure continues to grow. Her upcoming film 'The Last Song' premieres in April.

"The [new] episodes will continue to roll out at least over a full year," Bonnett says of the final 'Montana' shows.

Even the show itself has had inklings of should-she-or-shouldn't-she plot lines.

Bonnett says "it's one of the things she's been wrestling with for months -- whether it's time to make a decision to continue being 'Hannah Montana' or just be a regular, ordinary girl."

I don't think she will ever be anything bigger than what she is now...she may go on for a little while after this, but without "Hannah Montana", she will be forgotten...her songs are catchy and I don't have a problem with her or anything, but she will only be remembered as Hannah Montana, she will try new things, but they probably won't work out for her

ive never been fond of miley. hopefully she keeps her head and doesnt go too crazy. even when she quits the show the young girls and some boys of america will still recognize her as hannah montana and idolize her. Dont be quick to set a bad example and recognize your fan base is primarily young preteen america.

NOW SHE CAN ACT IN OTHER THINGS MAKE ONE OR TWO SONGS A YEAR. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF SHE WERE TO GO TO COLLEGE AND ENCOURAGE YOUNG PEOPLE TO DO THE SAME. THIS YOUNG LADY IS SET..SHE WILL NOT HAVE MONEY PROBLEMS, AND IT IS GREAT TO SEE SHE DOES NOT HAVE ANY DRUG ISSUES, UNFORTUNATELY LIKE "YOUNG" HOLLYWOOD THESE DAYS. STOP BEING JEALOUS OF HER. SHE CAME OUT OF NOWHERE AND BECANE A HUGE SUCCESS.

The best part is she sucks at acting like anyone but herself, which is basically who "Miley Stewart" is on the show, so after a while, she'll be so far out of work she'll turn into Lindsey lohan, and just be another sad little girl who lost her way.

well, i would have say i like the show and watching it with my girls. sad to see it end but at the same time i think she is a BEAUTIFUL girl that has grown so much yes has done sho supit stuff but we all have we are just lucky enough that we are not in the spot light for everyone to see what we have done. i wish her the best in all she does GOOD LUCK MILEY
