Oscar-nominated actress Natalie Portman reveals to Elle UK that her days of stripping for films are over.
"The good-girl image was something I consciously cultivated after ['The Professional.'] There was a lot of controversy about the whole Lolita thing. My parents were super-protective about it, but I got a lot of weird letters. It was really upsetting," she says.
"I didn't want to be seen as a sex object, so I went the opposite direction. I'm definitely not a prude about sex or nudity, I just don't want do something that will end up in a screen grab on a porn site," she adds.

Another thing the actress won't do? Take on Jewish roles -- although she herself is Jewish.
"I've always tried to stay away from playing Jews. I get like 20 Holocaust scripts a month, but I hate the genre," she tells the magazine, The Huffington Post reports.
However, she recently went against her own rules and played a Hasidic bride in 'New York, I Love You.'
"That was the first thing to come my way that really intrigued me," she said.

thats a crying shame Natalie Portman won't be doing any more nude scenes. to me, she has a great body. so many men, ruins it for the rest of us that love to see the female celebraties naked.
Talk about a career ending statement, this one has to be on the top of any mans list. I dont think there is any actress who after making that statement was able to have a long and lucrative movie career.
