Ahh Scooter..Yes this is another story that perpetuates the "Great White Hope" It is easy for those who are regularly depicted as the Hero, Good Guys and Savior to not appreciate what other races see.. Not every story in main stream media needs to perpetuate the "Great White Hope"

I am waiting for a time when all Saviors, Heroes and Good Guys will be depicted by many races over many films. Not just the "Ethnic" films.. And simply.. the fact that there are such categories of films is a direct reflection of the in-equality in main stream films.

Playing ignorant to the system that favors one over the other does not mean it does not exist. Isn’t is better to be an aware person than to be the person who benefits from a system that they deny exists.. Ahh what bliss….
