'Bachelor' Jake Says Getting Cheated on 'Sucks,' but Who Is He to Talk?

'The Bachelor' star Jake Pavelka claims that contestant Rozlyn Papa's alleged relationship with a producer of the reality TV series hurt him. But we think it's more of a bruised ego than anything. How else would you explain a man who goes on dates with 25 women getting upset when one of them may have cheated?

According to ABC, Papa engaged affair with a 'Bachelor' staff member, and was subsequently kicked off. Papa herself vehemently denies a sexual relationship ever happened.

Pavelka addresses the issue in a blog for PEOPLE. "This is the first time I have been cheated on (to my knowledge) and man, it sucks," he reveals.

But before he makes you feel bad for him, the 'Bachelor' describes dating all the other women on the show -- causing us to scratch our heads. Isn't Jake being just a bit hypocritcal? We think so.

Jake dishes on dates he had during the episode, before pulling his "woe is me" routine. He writes about his feelings for Ali, Elizabeth and Michelle. "There is nothing cooler than being in a plane with a woman you really like and Ali is definitely a doll face," he muses.

"I was really impressed with Elizabeth when I met her. She is so pretty and cool and I absolutely respected the fact that she didn't want me to kiss her," he continues.

He adds, "Michelle is nothing but honest and sincere and man, she's really pretty too!"

But then comes the juicy stuff. He explains how Chris Harrison, the host, broke the news of Rozlyn's rumored dalliances to him.

When it happened, according to Pavelka, his "heart dropped and [he] felt numb." The reality TV Casanova admits that he "had started to develop feelings for Rozlyn" and that's why revelations of her alleged affair hurt him.

Quick to recover, the 'Bachelor' star reminds himself he still has 14 other women who want him. We bet the pain from Rozyln's reported betrayal doesn't feel as bad now, does it Jake?

The series follows 25 women fighting for the attention of one man. He chooses between the girls by going on separate dates with each, and handing out roses at the end of each episode. None of the women complain that they are getting cheated on, but when the tables are turned, the man gets upset? That doesn't fly.

You can't string along several different women, then cry foul when one of them is "unfaithful." You're not committed to each other, you're only committed to a TV show. So man up and move on. Like you say, Jake, there are plenty of other contestants hoping to catch your eye.

This guy is a wus. He never even asked if he could talk to Rozlyn to get her side of the whole thing. Wow, he must have really had feelings for her. Also, the network should be careful about tossing the word "affair" around. If Rozlyn is telling the truth, they are defaming her before a national audience. Every story has two sides, and Jake didn't even care to hear Rozlyn's. Besides, the entire framework of Bachelor is demeaning and trivial.

Girl Please. How would like it if you met a guy who says I'm here for you, who you feel could potential be your husband and he would rather sex another woman than you? Be for real. That could hurt.

first off, he wasnt cheated on, they werent even in a relationship yet, they never once described what the supposed innapropriate relationship was, could mean a million different things. we all know he isnt going to find his dream woman or his wife on this show. it will end like all the other bachelors....alone and dating someone he found on his own.

keep this in perspective! This is a TV show. Entertainment! What kind of people would go on a show of this sort in the first place? Don't get so picky. Enjoy it or don't watch it........

PUT a SOCK in It already!!!! Ok, let me get this straight. He feels like he was cheated on. He has spent perhaps... 3 to 5 hours with this labeled "cheater"? And no one on one time together? He is spending every waking moment being dragged off to the side with numerous women who are hugging, pawing, kissing, displaying their stuff, holding hands, body rubbing in the hot tub and other places and he is definitely participating and enjoying every second of it. AND she is the one who is cheating on HIM? How many of you who are watching just fell off the the turnip truck yesterday? I have seen this show be mean spirited and do and allow things that are just hurtful to the contestants. This is not to say that nothing happened, because who knows??? but I am saying that throwing this lady under the bus is not fair to her.

I bet Rozlyn sues the show and she should unless they can prove it was a sexual affair. She may get rich out of this deal. It ain't over til the fat lady sings.........LOL.

I don't care who does who, I like this show and thank god the "sh#@ hit the fan". You want to keep me watching, just keep up the good work. Relationships or developing relationship, who cares, just keep it ever changing. I can't wait until next week. The tall ugly one "didn't want him to kiss her", needs to go.....wait, she looks like a man! That would be a good twist and really have Jake in the dumps. ABC, do it, please do it. But to be real, about 7 of the women are DOGS! Well, anywho, I love this show!!!!!

Anna, I am with you all the way. I do believe in love at first sight. My husband and I will be celebrating our 18th anniversary on the 27th. I looked at him and thought to myself "I am going to marry this man." This was before we ever said a word to one another. Love is found in many different ways. Sure most of the relationships ended from the show, but some have not. At least it gave all of them a chance to really discover what they truly want in a long lasting relationship. I hope he boots Elizabeth next week. I really like Ali and could see them together. As for the rest Gia is the only one that I think is a real person. I just don't see him with any of the others. Especially Ms. I Gotta Cry Every 5 Seconds. What is her name? We will just keep watching together Anna and enjoying the show. Others can change the channel. As for Rozlyn I may be wrong, but to me she is a major fake and was using the show to further her career. That girl is high maintenance.

I presume these contestants agree to the arrangements in a contract. She's there to determine if she's for he or he's for she. It appears she broke her contract, plain & simple. I read nothing into the host's explanation. If she had eyes for someone else *during* her adventure she should have dismissed herself from the show so she wouldn't be embarrassed. IMO, I believe she came on national TV to be viewed,possibly get a modeling contract, etc., kinda like the male who thought he was going to make it big as a country singer.

I think show is a train wreck...I watch it for one reason and one reason only and that is to see the dates. They are so unbelievable it's no wonder why couples do not last. It's not reality. The girls when they have one on one time only talk about how great he is and they want to be their for a reason. Doesnt anybody let Jake know that Michelle is a basket case. Ed and gillian said let her go she gives a strange vibe. No wonder things do not work out. Desperate woman cat fighting for one man. Of course Jake is georgous so why is he on the show. The girls only love him for what they see...Sad

The article's author, Denise Warner, must be living in a different universe! Denise darling, the word 'cheating' means doing something DECEITFUL, doing something behind someone's back. The bimbo just got done begging for the rose and kissing Jake. The next thing we know, she is going after another guy??!!?! How can you call Jake 'hypocritical'??? These women signed on KNOWING full well that Jake will be dating all and kissing most. Nothing was hidden from them. You, Denise, must be bitter from someone who cheated on you.
