'Bachelor' Jake Says Getting Cheated on 'Sucks,' but Who Is He to Talk?

'The Bachelor' star Jake Pavelka claims that contestant Rozlyn Papa's alleged relationship with a producer of the reality TV series hurt him. But we think it's more of a bruised ego than anything. How else would you explain a man who goes on dates with 25 women getting upset when one of them may have cheated?

According to ABC, Papa engaged affair with a 'Bachelor' staff member, and was subsequently kicked off. Papa herself vehemently denies a sexual relationship ever happened.

Pavelka addresses the issue in a blog for PEOPLE. "This is the first time I have been cheated on (to my knowledge) and man, it sucks," he reveals.

But before he makes you feel bad for him, the 'Bachelor' describes dating all the other women on the show -- causing us to scratch our heads. Isn't Jake being just a bit hypocritcal? We think so.

Jake dishes on dates he had during the episode, before pulling his "woe is me" routine. He writes about his feelings for Ali, Elizabeth and Michelle. "There is nothing cooler than being in a plane with a woman you really like and Ali is definitely a doll face," he muses.

"I was really impressed with Elizabeth when I met her. She is so pretty and cool and I absolutely respected the fact that she didn't want me to kiss her," he continues.

He adds, "Michelle is nothing but honest and sincere and man, she's really pretty too!"

But then comes the juicy stuff. He explains how Chris Harrison, the host, broke the news of Rozlyn's rumored dalliances to him.

When it happened, according to Pavelka, his "heart dropped and [he] felt numb." The reality TV Casanova admits that he "had started to develop feelings for Rozlyn" and that's why revelations of her alleged affair hurt him.

Quick to recover, the 'Bachelor' star reminds himself he still has 14 other women who want him. We bet the pain from Rozyln's reported betrayal doesn't feel as bad now, does it Jake?

The series follows 25 women fighting for the attention of one man. He chooses between the girls by going on separate dates with each, and handing out roses at the end of each episode. None of the women complain that they are getting cheated on, but when the tables are turned, the man gets upset? That doesn't fly.

You can't string along several different women, then cry foul when one of them is "unfaithful." You're not committed to each other, you're only committed to a TV show. So man up and move on. Like you say, Jake, there are plenty of other contestants hoping to catch your eye.

I totally agree with you Rosalie. Sometimes you may find love where you don't expect it. The only real winners of this show is the producers not the contestants. It's all about viewership and money!!!! Since the history of the Bachelor, no couple has ever lasted. They need to quit while they're ahead!!

Do they screen for STD'S when they do these shows? Just shows how dumb the US of A gets by even allowing televised prostitution. They all deserve what they get when they enter on that show. I watched part of one once to see what the hype was. Can you believe that they pretend to have emotions on there????!?!?!?! SICK!

If Rozlyn Papa was innocent as she claims, why did she leave? If it was me, I would have said "make me". She got what all these brainless idiots want...national recognition. Why not pair up Rozlyn with the cowboy cheater from the bachelorette? Wonder what all these botox bimbos are going to look like in 10 years....ewwwwww

Ohhhh people...are you kidding me? This little "scandal" is probably going to get this show some little things called ratings. I don't even watch this show and I'm seeing it on the news! I'm sure this little stunt is supposed to cause attention. The other day I was reading about how network ratings are lagging...then I read this. lol

Developing "feelings for her". Plleezzzzz! He is a man whore himself, and I see he has bounced ANYONE even close to his age!! And I would be money the producers are telling him to keep Michelle around for entertainment reasons....he is that STUPID that he does not see she is as nutty as a fruitcake! This show thinks the general public are STUPID!!! He is a good looking pilot,I refuse to believe he is having trouble finding his soul mate. The only reason he is on this show is for his "15 minutes".

What a crock! This is the most God awful shows on TV. It has been from the beginning. It's scripted, manipulated and poorly acted. Everyone on this show is desperate for some kind of attention... they're not there to find love. Can we all say "career boost, camera whores and attention seekers"? This is one relaity show that needs to be canned. Not a single person on this show has any talent whatsoever. It's a waste of electricity once the TV is on to watch!

I can't understand why anyone even watches this stuff. My gosh, the guy is a good looking pilot who is surrounded by ready, willing and able flight attendants on a daily basis. He certainly doesn't need to go on a show like this and make a fool of himself!

Does anyone, but myself, notice how many people that hate this show are up to every detail?(someones is a closet watcher lol)I kno for a fact some people that knock reality shows would not miss their soaps do dah...kinda same thing ... well only advice I can muster is this, turn the channel..I agree they sighn up for this show they kno the rules, let her go move on, but I smell big bucks for her little cheap trick .. and that is wrong..

Jake is there to hopefully find his soul mate, best friend and future wife. I think the management of the bachelor handled this professionally and proper. The 25 women are all there to hopefully be the one Jake falls in love with. They are not their to be messing around with anybody, is that how they would continue to behave after marriage. I think it was good that she was found out. Better to find out the truth about people early................open your eyes people....be happy for Jake.
She ruined her reputation on national television. What guy is gonna trust her now??????????

I wouldn't really say he has been cheated on, however, the women on the show are supposed to be there for Jake, not for some casual affair with a staff member. IMO it is better that she isn't there anymore. She obviously wasn't very sincere about being there. You can tell from the look on her face when Chris is talking to her that she had no problem with her behavior. Guess she thinks it's okay to treat people that way because she is beautiful and a model. Well go somewhere else and have your cheap affairs.
