'Bachelor' Jake Says Getting Cheated on 'Sucks,' but Who Is He to Talk?

'The Bachelor' star Jake Pavelka claims that contestant Rozlyn Papa's alleged relationship with a producer of the reality TV series hurt him. But we think it's more of a bruised ego than anything. How else would you explain a man who goes on dates with 25 women getting upset when one of them may have cheated?

According to ABC, Papa engaged affair with a 'Bachelor' staff member, and was subsequently kicked off. Papa herself vehemently denies a sexual relationship ever happened.

Pavelka addresses the issue in a blog for PEOPLE. "This is the first time I have been cheated on (to my knowledge) and man, it sucks," he reveals.

But before he makes you feel bad for him, the 'Bachelor' describes dating all the other women on the show -- causing us to scratch our heads. Isn't Jake being just a bit hypocritcal? We think so.

Jake dishes on dates he had during the episode, before pulling his "woe is me" routine. He writes about his feelings for Ali, Elizabeth and Michelle. "There is nothing cooler than being in a plane with a woman you really like and Ali is definitely a doll face," he muses.

"I was really impressed with Elizabeth when I met her. She is so pretty and cool and I absolutely respected the fact that she didn't want me to kiss her," he continues.

He adds, "Michelle is nothing but honest and sincere and man, she's really pretty too!"

But then comes the juicy stuff. He explains how Chris Harrison, the host, broke the news of Rozlyn's rumored dalliances to him.

When it happened, according to Pavelka, his "heart dropped and [he] felt numb." The reality TV Casanova admits that he "had started to develop feelings for Rozlyn" and that's why revelations of her alleged affair hurt him.

Quick to recover, the 'Bachelor' star reminds himself he still has 14 other women who want him. We bet the pain from Rozyln's reported betrayal doesn't feel as bad now, does it Jake?

The series follows 25 women fighting for the attention of one man. He chooses between the girls by going on separate dates with each, and handing out roses at the end of each episode. None of the women complain that they are getting cheated on, but when the tables are turned, the man gets upset? That doesn't fly.

You can't string along several different women, then cry foul when one of them is "unfaithful." You're not committed to each other, you're only committed to a TV show. So man up and move on. Like you say, Jake, there are plenty of other contestants hoping to catch your eye.

I swear to god I have never seen this show but the irony of a guy who agrees to date, I am guessing dozens of women, is upset because he has been "cheated on". First off Mr. Gumby look up the word irony because I think your pic is right next to it. Second, get ready to face the music because anyone who goes on a show to meet "the right one" won't let fidelity or honesty intrude on their goal. Jeez.

Jake wouldn't know what to do with a woman if someone had a gun to his back!! He is a gorgeous and sweet guy, but, he AIN'T HETRO!!

He has no overt gay tendencies-his walk, talk and behavior speak to me, a straight woman as no 'Marboro Man', but I don't see him on 'BrokeBack Mountain' either.

I don't watch the show all the time, but I cannot believe how low a woman can go to get a guy. Almost all of them go and kiss the dude after he kissed a bunch of other girls, or who knows what else. He was heartbroken yeah right, he thinks he is all that?? at least I have respect for the girl who doesn't want to be kissed, but she will be the next one gone. Or is she already??

It is a very good chance this was a purposely set-up by the show producers in order to create more drama and add excitement to a show that needs to be cancelled. This show has gorgeous looking people back stabbing each other to get the ultimate prize of another gorgeous looking person. It teaches immorality, back-stabbing, and people looks are a the most important thing in life.

Let's be serious here...if Roz was even FLIRTING with a producer (or ANYONE besides JAKE)while on the show, it's INAPPROPRIATE. And as for Jake being a hypocrite, c'mon, he's on the show for a REASON...to see if one of these women could be the "one" for him. We (viewers)made this show as popular as it IS and honestly, I was THRILLED when they brought Jake back as this years' Bachelor, so why throw him under the bus? We all know the premise of the show...all the women know what to expect--yes, he's going date, kiss and "who knows what else" all the other chicks--when they sign-up, so give me a break on all the jealousy stuff, especially when they only know him for like 2 days!?! And if they are SERIOUS about meeting and seriously dating the Bachelor, then I believe the assumption is they are NOT looking to meet/date a producer or staff member or anyone else at that point in time! Personally I think the network and producers are making a lot more out of all of this than is really necessary (just like they are making Michelle look like a bit of a nutjob)...they know what they're doing, and they do it for the ratings. And let's face it...it keeps us all watching!!!

PLEASE... OMG... what an ass! what a scam for sympathy and to get all the girls vying for his attention... ugh! well whoever he picks will have to watch out who she looks at... she'll be accused of cheating. Jake... get things in perspective here... 25 women and 1 guy... while you're kissing and doing whatever we don't know what else, you are going to accuse one of them of cheating!?! you have to be in a REAL relationship 1 on 1 before you can accuse someone of cheating!

Bachelor Jake is a jerk! Anyone who appears on a show of this
type is just looking for fame at what ever it takes. No one can find love on this kind of show( matter how many women he dates). I don't watch any reality shows.

All of you "haters of the show" seem to know a lot about it. Hmmmmm. If you truly don't like the show, then don't watch it.

This is the silliest thing in the world-well, on American TV.
Wasn't it last season when "The Bachelor" picked the love of his life
only to dump her for other 'real true' love of his life?
Then I hear that this season a woman who had barely got off the plane, who
had barely had time to change her knickers is being thrown off for dallying
with a crew member, exactly what Jake was doing with a whole lot of women at the very same time. Something is wrong here, and to expose what they percieved to be a wrong doing on her part shouldn't have been aired for our viewing pleasure-but of course this is why people watch in the first place.
I had hoped that Jake would spare is the "I'm hurt"line, or rather his 'heart dropped' and
he 'felt numb' because he was 'beginning to have feelings for her'. No such luck.
Excuse me, but didn't this show just begin a couple of weeks ago? When did he have time to develop these heartfelt feelings for her-I'm surprised her remembered who she was-and there's no proof that he did!
I caught the part of one show where all the girl's were introduced and I was horrified by the terrible lines they came up with to engage him.
Whatever happened to "Hello, my name is so & so, it's a pleasure to meet you and I hope that we will have some time to talk later this evening," drop hand and make your exit-none of this "I'm so & so-fly me' and although I don't think anyone came up with that line they would have been better if they had used that than some of the really awful line's they used.
I really have no idea what such lovely women are doing on this humiliating show except hoping for some television exposure.There cannot be any other reason.
I hope Roz get's a show, "The Girl Who did or might have.."

Rozlyn was throwing herself all over Jake, that should have been a hint to him of what sort of girl she was, desparate. I just didn't see the both of them together any way, Jake deserves a lot better than that. Ali and Jake are perfect together, she's the lady to go for. I don't care for Elizabeth, she isn't in it for him either, just something about her I don't like-pretentiousness-phony! Ali is down to earth, sincere, honest, and a natural beauty, nothing fake about her.

There is transparently NO hypocrisy here. Going into the show, all the women expected that he would not be exclusive and would be, for purposes of the show, dating all of them and getting a feel for how he felt about them. They consented to that. He did not consent, however, to them having dalliances. Maybe it's fair that she did so, maybe it's not, but the behavior is NOT the same because they expected going into the show (and getting all of the benefits of doing so) that they would all be dating one guy. Simply put: If I have 25 girlfriends, it's not cheating if I sleep with any of them but it is cheating if they sleep around. It WOULD be cheating if I slept with girl #26, but that is neither here nor there.

As a 30 something male with strong morals and values, as well as treating the person I am with like they deserve to be treated, nothing in the world matter like they do (aside from family), opening doors, opening car door AND buckling her in because I want to be sure she is safe, causing plenty of laughter, and many other endearing qualities, I believe I have been cheated on by 3 former girlfriends. I only have proof for 2 of them, but let me tell Jake that you have not experienced cheating until you have someone show you photos, or have your best friend at the time try to tell you that your girlfriend was telling lies about the two of them. You're in a lucky spot, I have not watched this season, but tuned in last night. I'd love to find someone that treated me the half the way that I treat her, and have the values and morals I do, and be attractive to boot..

Actually, he always has been real with Ali, no faking at all. Since the first day when these girls came out the LIMO you could see there was a crush between Jake and Ali. Perhaps, the knew each other from before!!!

Seeing previews of next week it looks like he doesn't pick either women. Both crying. His parents looked like they didn't like the blonde. But Tenley doesn't seem right for him. I don't see the chemistry with Jake and her. Tenley is a follower and seems too childish. I think the blonde would make him very happy. Sorry my mind is blank about her name at the moment.
