Channing Tatum Wants 'Fat Roles' in Five Years

Channing Tatum is not denying his six-pack status in film, but he plans to change that because beauty doesn't last forever. "I'm gonna give it five more years and then say, 'Get me some fat roles, boys!'" he says in the new issue of Details Magazine (on newsstands Tuesday, January 19.)

Tatum also chats about his battles with depression, his beefcake past and even the exquisite pain of having boiling water poured down the front of his wetsuit burning his uh... private parts.

On depression: "The longer I took Dexedrine, the worse I felt. It sucked all the personality from me. I'd get depressed. I would think suicidal -- I was never personally suicidal, but I could see how some kids were, how they'd be, like, I can't take this anymore."

On his burnt "private parts": "It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life... I've been to the hospital, gotten stitches, had broken fingers and toes. But this was a suffocating kind of pain... Now my penis is fantastic!"
