Richard Simmons got a little too close for comfort to William Shatner during the fourth hour of 'The Today Show,' this morning, prompting the 'Boston Legal' star to say something that the 'Sweatin' to the Oldies' guru didn't particularly appreciate."It's time to finally to come out and discuss their relationship," Kathie Lee Gifford says, while Simmons hugs a squirming Shatner.
"Oh my God the cameras are on!" Simmons mock cries and grabs the sports page of the newspaper.
"Is that the way you think straight guys are?" Shatner quipped, prompting Simmons to walk of the set.

Simmons needs to grow a little tougher skin. He was the one clowning around in the first place. Then he starts acting like he's some macho man. All Shatner did was tease back. "If you can't take it, don't dish it out."

If a man fawns over another man like a woman would, one can rightfully assume he is less than straight. Actions promote assumptions. Richard, if you don't want the world to assume your gay, quit fawning over men like a woman would...or in this case worse than a woman would.
