David CopperfieldAfter a long investigation into allegations that David Copperfield raped a woman on his private island in the Bahamas, the case against the magician have been dropped.

"We filed a notice today that we had terminated the grand jury inquiry," a representative for the U.S. Attorney's Office told PEOPLE. No other reason was given.

Almost three years ago, a former Miss Washington accused Copperfield of raping her. Charges were never filed, but investigators did search his warehouse and magic museum in Las Vegas.

The alleged victim also currently has a civil suit against him.
