Jimmy Kimmel took the stage on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' dressed up as his sometimes-rival Jay Leno, complete with grey hair and faux chin."Hello, hello, my name is Jay Leno and let it here by be known that I'm taking over all the shows in late-night," he quipped, referring to the recent dustup at NBC.
"It's great to be here on ABC," he adds. "You know what ABC stands for? Always Bump Conan."
"Conan O'Brien, today, announced that he is leaving NBC. He released a statement today saying 'I won't participate in the destruction of 'The Tonight Show.'" Fortunately, though, I will," Kimmell says as Leno.

saw the show last night and it was pretty good with the exception of chevy chase who displayed the personality of a deer caught in the headlights, having a bad hair day. luckily, jimmy gave him the bum's rush.

Um, Jay didn't get the ratings...that's why all this is happening! And because people were turning to a different network at 10/9c...it affected the local news stations and it continued to trickle down hill, affecting Conan's and Jimmy's ratings. Jay used to be a lot more funny. He should just retire and let the new era of late-night have a chance to build itself up.
jays ratings are the same as when he had the tonite show. he averages 5 million viewers, which is cr*p at 10pm but fantastic at 11:35pm, conan lost over half of that audience. i agree that they should have given conan more time but his show needed a shake up, who knows if it would have worked.
For those of you who missed it, you missed a great show!
I kept waiting for him (Jimmy mocking Jay) in his mockery to keep saying as Jay does - exactly, exactly which was the only disappointment in it for me. Instead he kept saying "did you hear about this?" Otherwise it was perfect!

Leno's an ass. He went from hawking Doritos to Johnny Carsons job. I tried to watch him once, it was so annoying I never tuned in again. He reminds me of Billy Crystal, HE only thinks he's funny...

This guy is an ASS! This is not Leno or Conan's fault; it's NBC's fault and it's not right to blame this on either of them. Whatever NBC decides, it's Leno's & Conan's staff that will pay for NBC's mistake. Leno & Conan have enough money to deal with this, their staffs do not. More people unemployed thanks to NBC's screw up!
