Adam Lambert Dreams of Acting on 'Gossip Girl,' 'True Blood'

Listen up, Chace Crawford: You hold Adam Lambert's happiness in your hands. Last season's 'American Idol' runner-up tells PopEater that he wants to appear on 'Gossip Girl,' not wholly due to, but partially because of, a little crush. "As long as I can do a scene opposite Chace Crawford, I'd be happy," he says. "I just want a couple moments where I can just look and be like, 'Hmmmm.' Just some eye contact and I'll be really happy."

If a scene with Chace can't happen, Lambert says he would settle for being Blair's shopping buddy. His acting ambitions don't end with 'Gossip Girl,' though, as he would also be delighted to appear on 'True Blood' or 'Weeds.' In fact, he'd like to have a role created for him on 'True Blood' as a "glampire."

"Maybe this vampire was an underground performer at clubs like Fangtasia and he's part of a new movement of vampire that is in the public eye and isn't afraid to embrace his vampire nature onstage and off," Lambert says of his "glampire." "I'm sure anybody that's a fan of 'True Blood' understands the social undercurrent of the show, and it would kind of make a lot of sense."

For his close-up on Showtime's 'Weeds,' Lambert would like to play an extreme character on the pot-friendly series. "I'd either be very sober and against the lifestyle just to kind of be ironic, or I'd be like a drug dealer or something," he says. "I just would want to go to two extremes of things that I would never be. Tthat would be pretty funny."

Just saw Adam's new video for his song 'Whataya Want From Me' OMG Adam can definitely act!! He gives a heart wrenching performance and then he gets you in the end.. took my breath away ~ I would love to see him on tv or in a movie.

If the guy would base his career on his talents instead of his raging libido, he could have a long and storied career. There is no reason his sexuality or his sexual preference should be so prominent in his act. He's getting very bad advice from his PR agents.

I know I would love to see Adam Lambert on True Blood! I don't watch Gossip Girl but if Adam were to guest slot on it I would tune in. Look what he did to Chelsea Lately's show. It had the highest rating all season when he appeared on it. Boosted her ratings by 1 million viewers.

I don't know what it is about Adam but he's so fascinating to me, I still hate Idol though. Maybe cos he has so many layers, he's a sweetheart but he can be naughty and other stuff. I know he gave Kris Allen a boner onstage on tour just looking at him whilst singing lmaaaao. And Tommy his straight bassist's knees gave in when Adam frenched him. And I know a LOT of straight guys who have a crush on him. He's different to both straights and gays which is what makes him really cool, talent aside.

He's friends with Leighton so I can actually see Gossip Girl happening. I'd like to see him on Weeds or Dexter though, he's a good actor. I know he said he'll need acting lessons but he won't need that many.
