Adam Lambert Dreams of Acting on 'Gossip Girl,' 'True Blood'

Listen up, Chace Crawford: You hold Adam Lambert's happiness in your hands. Last season's 'American Idol' runner-up tells PopEater that he wants to appear on 'Gossip Girl,' not wholly due to, but partially because of, a little crush. "As long as I can do a scene opposite Chace Crawford, I'd be happy," he says. "I just want a couple moments where I can just look and be like, 'Hmmmm.' Just some eye contact and I'll be really happy."

If a scene with Chace can't happen, Lambert says he would settle for being Blair's shopping buddy. His acting ambitions don't end with 'Gossip Girl,' though, as he would also be delighted to appear on 'True Blood' or 'Weeds.' In fact, he'd like to have a role created for him on 'True Blood' as a "glampire."

"Maybe this vampire was an underground performer at clubs like Fangtasia and he's part of a new movement of vampire that is in the public eye and isn't afraid to embrace his vampire nature onstage and off," Lambert says of his "glampire." "I'm sure anybody that's a fan of 'True Blood' understands the social undercurrent of the show, and it would kind of make a lot of sense."

For his close-up on Showtime's 'Weeds,' Lambert would like to play an extreme character on the pot-friendly series. "I'd either be very sober and against the lifestyle just to kind of be ironic, or I'd be like a drug dealer or something," he says. "I just would want to go to two extremes of things that I would never be. Tthat would be pretty funny."

Adam, as a gay man, all I can say is please stop! You are making it hard on all of us. You need to make people like, accept and respect you as a man, who is gay, not a GAY man. One is not soley defined by their sexuality, but by their character. You apparent lack of character is hurting the entire gay movement and population by inciting hatred, as it is evident you hate society. I don't know, but I've done OK taking a much more cereberal approach.

Cole: I have older gay male friends who find Adams behavior disgusting. While I adore Adams talent and respect his right to be who he is..I do think a more intelligent approach highlighting his amazing voice and talent and keeping his sexuality off the radar. If he had any brains he would make his millions first and then be outrageous. Gay people are no different to straight people--they live their lives, have their partners and families and have jobs and careers just like everyone else. Not everyone is flambouyant and outrageous. Personally I think he took the wrong route to start his career. I still love him and will go to see him in concer t and I just hope we'll hear the voice that sang Bohemian Rhapsody rather than the AMA Adam whose performance on "For Your entertainment" was insulting to respectable gays everywhere.

Adam has it if he wants to use it a little something for everyone. He can be sweet or dangerously saucey. His rendition of "What Do You Want from Me" was fantastic. I am of the older or middle aged generation but I enjoy his style and the way he puts his own brand on things, however, I would still like to see him make a movie as "Elvis" not necessarily a story of Elvis's life but as if he were Elvis in one of his beach or racing movies. I think he is the closest thing to Elvis we have seen since Elvis himself. Adam Lambert will be around for quite sometime because he is multi-talented and can sing anything.

I love Adam Lambert. He was really the winner of American Idol. He is so talented and fasinating to watch. What a voice. I don't care what sex he likes, I love him when he performs. At least, he is honest and open about how he feels.
