Final Guest for Conan O'Brien? Mr. Barry Manilow

With Conan O'Brien's days at 'The Tonight Show' winding down, PopEater can exclusively reveal who will be the host's final guest on Jan. 22: Barry Manilow.

"It's a perfect fit for Barry, who was once Bette Midler's piano player, to be the one to say goodbye to Conan," says our insider. "Bette was the late great Johnny Carson's final guest and now Barry will be Conan's ... if his final date holds."

And although Manilow will sing one of the songs from his new album, 'The Greatest Love Songs of All Time,' sources reveal the final spot of the night will be Manilow, the band, staff, crew and audience all singing what might be the most appropriate song ever: 'Can't Smile Without You.'

According to widespread reports, O'Brien and NBC have struck a deal and will end their rocky relationship officially next Friday. The network has not confirmed the Jan. 22 finale for O'Brien or reports that Jay Leno will be re-taking his job at 'The Tonight Show.'

NBC stinks for taking Conan off.... I have been a faithful NBC watcher and I think I am going to change the channel now. Conan might have been wackie but he is funny and entertaining. Shame on you and your poor decisions.

Well millions of viewers will be hitting the door also, hopefully leaving Leno with zilch. Stale humor, and an ego bigger than his chin. It will take him years to recover. Lets see if NBC hangs onto him. I wish nothing but the worse for Leno and nothing but the best for Conan. Leno guest list will be much shorter after this.

I agree with Tom...I too will be walking out the door with Conan. Jay Leno is a goddamn bore and a sleazeball. I love all the backlash and scathing remarks against him...no one deserves it more. Isn't there a Nursing Home Network he can go to, where his fanbase resides? Conan, I will follow you wherever you go...you are smart, funny, and inventive. I'M WITH COCO!!!!

Never watched Conan!

Til NBC put him, WHY?, on the Tonight Show and ruined everything for everyone!

Cannot stand this egotistical Jerk!

Worse than even, yes!, Letterman.

I Could not be happier to see him gone!

Maybe Ireland will grant him a 7 Month Visa?

Replace him with Laural and Hardy reruns!
