VIDEO: Jimmy Kimmel Sabotages Jay Leno

Jimmy Kimmel was a video guest on 'The Jay Leno Show' on Thursday night, and was supposed to simply be a guest for Jay's normal 'Ten at Ten' segment, wherein he asks someone ten questions. With nearly every answer, however, Kimmel managed to find a way to twist his answer into some form of a Leno insult. While Jay took it in good stride, the answers were so anti-Leno we are really wondering if it was pre-planned or an act of pure disdain for Leno. Watch and tell us what you think!

The laser-focus of Kimmel's aggression towards Jay is a sign of the overhwelming support fellow entertainers and fans are showing towards Conan O'Brien, who they feel was slighted by Leno. During the Leno-Kimmel exchange, the questioning went mostly like this:

Jay to Jimmy: "You're known for pranks ... what's the best prank you've ever pulled?"

Jimmy's Response: "I think the best prank I ever pulled was... ... I told a guy that five years from now, I'm going to give you my show. And then when the five years came, I gave it to him and then I took it back almost instantly. It was hilarious."

Jay to Jimmy: "Ever ordered anything off the TV?"

Jimmy's Response: "Like NBC ordered your show off the TV?"

Jay to Jimmy: "What's the most number of lapdances you've had in one night?"

Jimmy's Response: "Jay, my mother's watching the show. No wait, the show's canceled so nobody's watching. ... Strippers, I don't like in general because you have this phony relationship with them for money, similar to that of when you and Conan were on the 'Tonight Show' together passing the torch?"

Jay to Jimmy: "Is there anything you haven't hosted that you want to host?"

Jimmy's Response: "Oh, this is a trick right? Where you get me to host the 'Tonight Show' and then take it back? You've got $800 million. For God's sake, leave our shows alone."

Kimmel went way beyond. I saw it not as funny, but mean spirited. Kimmel must know someone because he's a lightweight, yet has his own show. Heck, he has people on that I never heard of. Maybe ABC will sign Conan to take over Kimmel's show.

Mike, you are an idiot. This was so obviously planned and scripted that if it were any more so, you would have seen the propmters in the view.Leno is a jerk. He's a whiny little diva that watched his ratings tank when he went to the earlier hours and now wants what he had, back. He pissed and moaned to NBC, and they bowed to his whim. It is disgusting. It is wrong. NBC has lost a faithful viewer, and I am 100% certain that I am not the only one that feels this way.

I totally agree!! What Kimmel did was so un-professional, he should be ashamed. If he had issues with the whole thing, he should not have agreed to do the video thing with Jay!

GE execs wanted to destroy the Tonight Show because it threatened their power. Heck Johnny Carson was the only sane thing in America for 30 years and Leno could make a politician or break one. Something must have happened to piss them off-maybe having Obama on? Don't know but Fallon is a big nothing and Conan is a nice guy but a lightweight. Leno should go out with some integrity and class and retire and Conan shoud go to FOX. The Tonight Show is over folks. Died with Carson.

Tech...What happened is simple, the "bloomies" got elevated to power points and took on oversight and management of the Tonight Show. Just a matter of time before the host of the show will be a late night copycat of the Ellen Degenerate show.

You must be REALLY old to believe that. You are overlooking the FACTS. Jay had great ratings on his late night show. Those ratings have plummeted since Conan took over. Jay's format did not work in prime time and his numbers were inadequate for the network. It really doesn't matter who you think was best. Conan's fans are a younger demographic and apparently, do not watch late night television. Jay's fans do. You old fogies who are still crying about Carson are a joke. The man is dead and the show lived on with great ratings and a healthy profit. JAY NEVER WANTED TO TURN THE SHOW OVER TO CONAN. The network made that decision over 5 years ago. It was a dumb move. Conan has a large following and will have a long, healthy career somewhere else. Jay will make more money for the network. That's the bottom line.

Tech, I agree with you 100%. Also Johnny Carson would have never put up with this foolishness because was "The Man". NBC, give Jay Leno the The Tonight Show back and it will probably bomb just like his new show did.

I think you hit the nail on the head. I was a devoted fan to Johnny Carson for years. Never could get used to Leno. He was not funny funny like Johnny. He was crude evil funny. I gradually switched to David Letterman and that is what I watch unless I notice Leno or OBrien had someone on I particularly wanted to see. Letterman is dumb funny but not a dumb man. He conducts a much better interview than Leno and has better guests. His reactions are more instantaneous and real than Leno or Obrien. Just a more fun show. Noone could ever replace Johnny Carson. Did you know Letterman was a frequent guest on Carson's show? That's how he got the show following Carson before he got screwed by NBC and went to CBS. Leno is a spoiled baby, a nice guy, but a spoiled baby. HE decided to quit and hand it over to Conan 5 years ago. Noone made him retire.

I agree the Tonight Show is gone. Has been since Carson retired. But didn't mind Jay as a stand in. Now Conan was a different story. He to me, was NOT Tonight show material. His own show...fine but not the Tonight show host. Is he getting screwed, in my opinion Yes.
But Jay is not the one doing the shafting. Its NBC. They are behind the whole mess. Doesn't anyone remember when all this happened to Letterman?
Fallon is not saying anything because he may be out of a job if Jay and Conan stay with NBC. Kimmel has to pipe in because his job and timeslot may be affected if either Jay or Conan switch networks.

Cyberma7777. You stated in bold JAY NEVER WANTED TO TURN THE SHOW OVER TO CONAN. You should know it isn't up to Leno. If it were, he wouldn't have been there in the first place because Carson didn't want Leno to take over. He wanted Letterman. That is why Letterman moved to CBS. Carson showed class though, he NEVER went on the Tonight Show again but showed up on Letterman even though he was contractually obligated not to go on as a guest. So, he just came by and waved. Never said a word so he didn't break his contract. He was unhappy with what happened to him, but he didn't try to destroy Leno and he probably really could have ended Leno's career.

I have always like Leno. Conan is an idiot. Leno couldn't care less about what people say about him. I think they should get rid of all talk shows. It's the same guests week after week.

I just watched some clips of Jimmy Fallon's show....he sucks. His monologue was horrible, his delivery was horrible. Toss this sucky show off TV also.

KIMMEL AND OBRIAN ARE TWO OF THE MOST DISGUSTING, UGLY MUGS ON TV, WITH ABSOLUTELY NO CLASS. NBC HAS EVOLVED AROUNG CARSON AND LENO ON THE TONITE SHOW THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE WORTH WATCHING. THEY MADE A HUGE MISTAKE WHEN THEY HAD LENO GO PRIME TIME. THEY HAD NOTHING ELSE, SO THEY THREW THE BEST THEY HAD AND IT DIDN'T WORK.

I take it you didn't get enough bran in your diet today. And anyway, what does looks have to do with hosting late night? What does looks have to do with hosting any show?

Conan has shown a lot of class an integrity over this NBC debacle, and I will sing nothing but praises for the man. Jay doesn't care because he got what he wanted at the expense of a lot of people who uprooted their families and moved all the way across the country to rightfully take over the show. Jay, show some dignity and class and just step away.
