VIDEO: Jimmy Kimmel Sabotages Jay Leno

Jimmy Kimmel was a video guest on 'The Jay Leno Show' on Thursday night, and was supposed to simply be a guest for Jay's normal 'Ten at Ten' segment, wherein he asks someone ten questions. With nearly every answer, however, Kimmel managed to find a way to twist his answer into some form of a Leno insult. While Jay took it in good stride, the answers were so anti-Leno we are really wondering if it was pre-planned or an act of pure disdain for Leno. Watch and tell us what you think!
The laser-focus of Kimmel's aggression towards Jay is a sign of the overhwelming support fellow entertainers and fans are showing towards Conan O'Brien, who they feel was slighted by Leno. During the Leno-Kimmel exchange, the questioning went mostly like this:
Jay to Jimmy: "You're known for pranks ... what's the best prank you've ever pulled?"
Jimmy's Response: "I think the best prank I ever pulled was... ... I told a guy that five years from now, I'm going to give you my show. And then when the five years came, I gave it to him and then I took it back almost instantly. It was hilarious."
Jay to Jimmy: "Ever ordered anything off the TV?"
Jimmy's Response: "Like NBC ordered your show off the TV?"
Jay to Jimmy: "What's the most number of lapdances you've had in one night?"
Jimmy's Response: "Jay, my mother's watching the show. No wait, the show's canceled so nobody's watching. ... Strippers, I don't like in general because you have this phony relationship with them for money, similar to that of when you and Conan were on the 'Tonight Show' together passing the torch?"
Jay to Jimmy: "Is there anything you haven't hosted that you want to host?"
Jimmy's Response: "Oh, this is a trick right? Where you get me to host the 'Tonight Show' and then take it back? You've got $800 million. For God's sake, leave our shows alone."

Jay is 59, and if he wants to continue working the "Right Thing To Do" is this: Keep Conan on his show. Into Conan's show do a "Where is Jay" type segment. In this segment, Conan cuts over to Jay and he is out doing jaywalking segments and 10 on 10 interviews as part of Conan's show. Jay is old enough to retire and the right thing to do is to keep Conan but for these guys to work together. Some of Conan's show sucks, like that back to the future thing and his monalogue would be better if it were written by Jay's writers (currently Conan's sucks).

cyberma777~~ Your an idiot! First, Conan was NOT cancelled!! second, Jay WANTED to LEAVE the TonightShow! Over the past several years he was making quips about it. He was constantly saying he wanted "retire", to move on to "other" things that got him home earlier, which was stupid because the show isn't really taped late, and so on. He wanted to go back to stand up and try to take on a show on his own thinking he was a Dane Cook or an Oprah. It back fired! He sucks! He turned TOO politial and he lost a ton of viewers, like myself before he left the TTS. Jay got old and boring. HE wanted it, HE got it, and NOW HE'S whining he wantes it back! Too bad so sad. your washed up Jay... Bye Bye!

NBC should just admit they made a mistake and cancel leno at 10:00. Leave Conan and Jimmy on.
Leno has enough money to last three lifetimes and buy and sell some third world countires.
Maybe leno should host a telethon for the Haiti Relief fund.

If anyone thinks Jay Leno did ANYTHING to Conan OBrien they are nuts. This whole thing came from the nit wits at NBC. Those idiots have put both Jay and Conan in a very difficult position. At this point, it is all about ego and hurt feelings. Shame on the executives at NBC who should be fired for creating this situation. Don't blame the puppet, blame the puppet master!!!!

I didnt watch this bout, in fact I don't watch any late shows with these guys. All three are terrible. What a waste of payroll. They have nothing to offer. Lastly, reruns of the Golden Girls are more inviting.

Remember people, Jay did not want to leave the show okay! NBC was afraid Conan would walked to another network when his contract expired so they promised the show to Conan to pacify him to stay with NBC. Conan's rating are not that good as we know. Not because of Jay Leno, but because Conan is not that good at the 11:35 hour he really isn't, He was much better at his old time slot he was also much more at ease and funny!!

Look at the questions. Of course it was all an act, all prepared in advance.

You know this isn't really about who is on Jay's team or who is on Conan's team who likes who the best, just think about it a minute America, if it were you, and you got the job of your dreams it was handed off by this guy whom you thought was retiring but then this guy decides at the last minute you know i want to stick around, by sticking around he undermines your management or what ever for a lack of better analogy ... so then the CEO decides to get the old guy back in your spot and you never really had enough time to settle in and just do it your way, get the team working smoothly under your management style... it happens Ive seen it happen in corporate America, it still isnt right, no one wants that done to them, its degrading, and the old guy should just DO WHAT'S RIGHT, retire, go fishing, write a book, read a book do what people do when they retire and if you still want to work get a new venture...not take the one you just gave away back! i think Jay is an ASS for going along with this, and there is no excuse for it, sometimes you have to do whats right, and walk away ...like Conan, you got to respect that, he needs a paycheck just like the rest of us, he has INTEGRITY, something Jay or anyone who pulls this crap LACKS.

Oh please..you are a joke. Just listen to yourself. And remember....Jay did not want to retire, he was forced out so the clown could have his show. I will cry for Conan tomorrow if i have time. He is 3rd behind Nightline..people don't get to keep their jobs when performance is low.
I agree, Laurie. Your statements ring true. I think Jay should retire and let Conan have his just rewards. I will never watch The Tonight Show again if NBC does not get this mess they created figured out and let Conan have it as he is contracted to do. In fact, I will quit watching anything on NBC because I am so disheartened about this whole thing. In my department of around 30 people where I am employed, I took a poll and it was unanimous support for Conan - all my teammates feel Conan is funny, Jay is not. We have a wide variety of ages from the mid twenties upwards to sixty years old so no one can say it is just the "young people" that support Conan. So, Jay, please retire and leave the Tonight Show to Conan, who deserves his shot at it.
NBC screwed up by thinking Conan was the key to the future, but he is not good enough at joke delivery (not a trained stand up - he is a good writer). This had to be a set up - why would Jay bring on another networks late night TV host in the middle of all of this - Jay is too smart to go blindly into that potential mess. Jay is the man and hopefully something gets fixed. Jay could go to 1 or 2 nights per week in prime time -say Tues.-Thurs and make this work very well, but the dolts at NBC can't think out of the box.
