VIDEO: Jimmy Kimmel Sabotages Jay Leno

Jimmy Kimmel was a video guest on 'The Jay Leno Show' on Thursday night, and was supposed to simply be a guest for Jay's normal 'Ten at Ten' segment, wherein he asks someone ten questions. With nearly every answer, however, Kimmel managed to find a way to twist his answer into some form of a Leno insult. While Jay took it in good stride, the answers were so anti-Leno we are really wondering if it was pre-planned or an act of pure disdain for Leno. Watch and tell us what you think!
The laser-focus of Kimmel's aggression towards Jay is a sign of the overhwelming support fellow entertainers and fans are showing towards Conan O'Brien, who they feel was slighted by Leno. During the Leno-Kimmel exchange, the questioning went mostly like this:
Jay to Jimmy: "You're known for pranks ... what's the best prank you've ever pulled?"
Jimmy's Response: "I think the best prank I ever pulled was... ... I told a guy that five years from now, I'm going to give you my show. And then when the five years came, I gave it to him and then I took it back almost instantly. It was hilarious."
Jay to Jimmy: "Ever ordered anything off the TV?"
Jimmy's Response: "Like NBC ordered your show off the TV?"
Jay to Jimmy: "What's the most number of lapdances you've had in one night?"
Jimmy's Response: "Jay, my mother's watching the show. No wait, the show's canceled so nobody's watching. ... Strippers, I don't like in general because you have this phony relationship with them for money, similar to that of when you and Conan were on the 'Tonight Show' together passing the torch?"
Jay to Jimmy: "Is there anything you haven't hosted that you want to host?"
Jimmy's Response: "Oh, this is a trick right? Where you get me to host the 'Tonight Show' and then take it back? You've got $800 million. For God's sake, leave our shows alone."

why don't you know the facts before you spout your mouth? Jay made no promise, he was told Conan was taking the show over in 5 years...it wasn't Jay's decision.
Business is business, Conan has no audience in that slot (being 3rd after Nightline) it's time for him to go.
You got that right, Ana.... Put Craig Ferguson in their spot and put an end to all the rest...
To everyone that is arguing over Leno,Conan and Kimmel... This is NOTHING more than a PR stunt to get more ratings and more laughs... When the executives make up their minds.. That's all folks....

I doubt very much that Jimmy Kimmel wants to get in the middle
of Leno/O'Brien.

It just gets more and more sophomorish. I don't need to see their business dealings (private and mature) played out out in my living room like a really bad divorce argument. Keep it behind closed doors and deal with it. I don't want to see someone else's junk. We get enough of that.
I am looking for funny, lighthearted humor that does not hit below the belt or stab in the back. I really enjoy Jay Leno. All this is/was beneath him. Careful, if I were NBC, I'd think about getting rid of all of them. Get back to your work guys.

You have to get a kick out of people ( Jim, this means you ! ) who say they are "faithful NBC viewers." Really ? Seriously ? You don't have a remote ? You only watch NBC programs because they've been so dynamite and ahead of the curve lo these many years, right ?

I still miss Jack Paar.

Give me a break. Conan's a nice guy, but he's already wiped out half the audience the Tonight Show ever had. Leno at 11:30 restores the historic franchise and smashes Letterman; Conan at 11:30 entertains the intellectual but fails to reach Joe the plumber and his wife as they settle into bed to close down their stressful day with some humor. All the Leno-bashing from the celebrities is Letterman-driven-don't-make-us-choose-between-appearing-on-the-Tonight-Show-or-Letterman-whining. With Conan, they can book on Letterman and not worry because they know nobody's watching the nice guy.

Kimmel can say whatever he wants and will always find work on TV because he is Jewish. Leno is Italian (Jersey shore! eeuuuu) and Conan is Irish, which is better than Italian, but neither is Jewish nevertheless. That's why they are not protected. In showbizz, you have to be a Jew to make it, and those two clowns just got lucky. Letterman can also do no wrong, because he's also Jewish. WE RULE! WE OWN SHOWBIZZ!

I really love it ... but Jay HAD to be in on it. Too many softballs setup for Kimmel.

GE is ruining late night TV so we will all go to bed earlier and help prevent climate change!

It is all a publicity stunt...NBC's ratings have gone way up since
this whole thing came out. Leno is done and what he is doing is
helping Conan. The past week or so Conan's shows have been awesome
and he has gone back to what worked for him when he was on at 12:35.

Who is Kimmel? I didn't even know who he was last night but today I see who he is, a nobody if I didn't know. How did he get a show anyway, what a loser?

Shows you the kind of class Jack and Johnny had!

I think Jay is just as much a victim of NBC's unwillingness to give its shows time and support for building an audience as Conan is. Both were kicked to the curb in the same manner at the same time. I think it is stupid of people to decide that Jay is some kind of villain in all this.

Jay is the king of late night TV. My twin brother and I was on his show he is a very nice person. Conan is getting a 40 million dollar buyout to leave. Wow that is more than his show would bring in for 10 years.

I think it was scripted. I saw it last night. My read is that Jay may not even stay with NBC and that all of the NBC contracted people are fed-up with NBC. Jay stood by Conan, who I don't watch but I have nothing against. I certainly stopped watching Dave, because he harps on negativity so much I consider it an immature waste. I have been recording the Leno show and watching it at 11:35. Frankly, the show beloned at 11:35 the whole time and Leno should have put up a fight to remain there. The 10:00 format is too rushed and not as edgy as a little later showing, but it still has the edge I look for.

I have always loved watching Leno and then Conan....It was one of my favorite things to do when I was up late...As far as I'm concerned....If somethings not broke, then don't fix it...In my opinion....it's beyond repairing since the day they switched everything around and now they want to switch it all back like the viewers really feel like dealing with all their indecisefulness... I do however feel badly for Conan because he was just the puppet in this whole thing, but I can't understand why his agent didn't make sure that he signed a contract that lets him stay with the 2nite show for at least 2 years....That was foolish on his part!!!!
